Between working from home and the kids being home all day, I spent the last 2 months trying to find time to paint the grill and inserts myself. Even messed up the paint job on the inserts because I was rushing to finish before helping with dinner. Finally caved and just bought it from MOPAR...
I remember seeing a chart on their website that showed the recommended time between recharging based on the size and storage temperature.
I'm definitely getting two noco boosts eventually (my Jeep and Wife's minivan), but it is a hefty chunk of change. The Jeep was actually dead on Saturday...
@Expedition One , I really want the mule ultra roof rack, but I have a sky top. I'm wondering if the inner edge of the frame will clear the twill. Preferably I'd like to leave the rack on and still be able to open the top. I'd settle for only using the rack when on the trail, as long as it...
Not an attorney or LEO here, just a curious person who knows enough to get myself in more trouble.
Does inherent right to privacy, or right to not self incriminate, not protect recordings that are personal property? Is this only regarding civil court vs. criminal court? Would it be different...
I have been pulled over and ticketed for 15 over 35, right after being stopped at a red light. Apparently I was drag racing in my Ram 1500...
In Virginia that's automatically reckless driving, and when I tried to dispute it the officer lied and said he saw me speeding from "way down the road...
Is this basically a rubber strip that you 3M tape to the door seam?
Does it impact door opening in any way?
How secure is it, like if you were driving with the doors off?
Sorry for the barrage of questions, but the website has like no information on it.
I just installed mine and I can say if you've got the rivet gun handy it is super simple to install and key. I did it while I was waiting for water to boil to make dinner (though I already had the grill off). As far as security, when the hood is locked you can't even get a finger in the gap...
Yeeeess, give in to the power of the sky top!
:like:
In all seriousness though, decide what kind of build you're going for first, then check compatibility with the sky top. I've run into a number of problems where the original product/idea I had will not work with the sky top. Not a deal...
Not all done today, but a continuation from this weekend:
Took apart the grill the begin the process of painting it. Just primer on the trim for now, eventually will be Sting Gray trim with black grill.
Installed headlight guards while the grill was off.
Put a coat of Plastidip on the badges...
Looks great! I'm planning on doing the same in Sting Gray if mine will ever get here :headbang:
Any issues or extra steps? I'm assuming it's just tape, primer, color matched paint, and maybe clear-coat?
Received and immediately installed the Bralee cargo hatch LED light bar. Just using the 12v socket for now, I'll hard wire it in later. Was not expecting how bright it is!
Braved the plague to get away from the kids and finally remove most of the stickers, especially the dealer stickers. I'm keeping the Jeep and Trail Rated to Plasti-dip later.
Still waiting for my Amfib snorkel...
Yeah, I'm still sitting on my headlight guards, plus Bolt hood lock, and planning on painting the shiny grill trim while everything is off. About how long did it take to disassemble and reassemble?
The hardest part for me was unclipping the cable connection, nearly bruised my thumb with how hard you have to push down on the clip. Got smart and used a trim tool for leverage, after that it was a breeze. 30 min on the first one, 10-15 min on the second one.
