Well that is a bummer. The reverse plate option works so great with the JL. They must not have been a big seller. I definitely wouldnt have bought the 1up rack without them. The drop hitch options just seem like a clunky work around.
I like this option if its not too far. I would tape off the fog light connector if you think you will see rain. Its pretty quick to get it on if you have an impact and swivel adapter. Mine took a few min to massage getting the bumper on since the bolts are tight.
They arent common on the lots because no one wants them. The JL I bought had been sitting for a while. The JK I ordered for the same deal as I could have gotten for an on the lot car. I just did a cargurus search and there are 120 sport S models available starting at $33.6k within 200miles of...
The base model jeeps are still there, people just don't want them. I have bought a TJ, JK, and JL in lower trim levels (the TJ and JK were strippers) and didn't have that hard of a time getting them.
I don’t understand why people are buying $60k cars they can’t really afford, but thats not...
I don’t see how this is true. There is a huge difference between splash proof and submerged in water for an extended period. I’m not saying there isnt other massive damage, because there is, but there is most likely significant electrical problems as well.
Man some people…I would love to see all these people talking trash about how you reacted do any better if it were them. Hitting the brakes could have just as easily caused a much worse accident for you if the camry didnt swerve into your lane (and for those saying it definitely would have, I...
I am not sure why being able to afford something has anything to do with the discussion. I can afford to have my wallet stolen 10 times a year, but I sure as hell am not going to let that just sit around and let that happen.
Can you post a pic of what this bumper looks like as it ships if you choose no hoop? Is the fairlead mount integrated in the bumper or a separate piece? Thanks.
I always assume the people that start these threads are toyota guys casually throwing shade :). I also think how a vehicle drives is so personal you just have to drive one and see if its for you. I test drove a lexus gx two days ago with dreams of a luxury offroader that never breaks with a...
I wouldnt trust what others say here, dont get me wrong, I am sure everyone has best intentions, theres just a lot of variables. Rock Hard 4x4 said they were sure my spare would fit without a relo bracket with their aluminum rear bumper, but after measuring it wasnt even close. 1up will give...
I’m looking for a set of steel bumper takeoffs that are in good condition. I am in the upstate SC area and willing to drive an hr to meet you. Thanks!
I didnt think that my Jeep had an issue with the steering but I asked about this tsb while getting another tsb done (passenger seat fix) and my dealer ordered the parts after a short test drive. Boy am I glad I asked. It took a couple months for the new steering box to come in but now that it’s...
I had a 2016 tacoma trd off road manual before my 2019 jlu. The transmission is what sold me on the tacoma, loved shifting that thing. But ultimately I couldnt take the motor and how pig slow it was any longer and didnt even have the truck 2 years. No wonder nothing breaks...not enough oomph to...
I really like this option. Do you sell these through Texas metal works? If so would you make one thats side mount instead of bottom mount? I want to use this with a bumper delete kit from rustys Offroad.
I know theres a ton of fixes for this, and I have tried a few that worked for a while and then stopped working, but my latest attempt seems to have done the trick permanently and is the easiest cleanest solution I have seen so far so I thought I would share. I bought the high density foam wedges...
Does anyone know if Rock Hard 4x4 ever runs sales or if there is a forum discount? I see a discount code spot but never seen a code. I know they sell a great product thats worth the money...I’m just cheap and their stuff is pricey :).
