Storage space is crucial in my 2dr so I ditched the nets for the AAL panels and don’t regret it. I found some molle pouches that work for me to hold my Nalgene bottle / general utility pouches, and later added a tourniquet to each door.

I’m moving to a state that requires mud flaps and now need to find/fabricate some mud flaps to work with my chopped Rubi fenders. it looks like the RokBlok rears will still work for me but definitely not the fronts. Anyone else in the same boat, chopper fenders and mud flaps?

I held it up and marked where the holes would go, then drilled pilot holes before using the provided screws to install the panels. If you want a close match to the Rubicon satin red, I bet you’re best/cheapest option would be to pay the $150 total from AAL. I used spray paint and did it myself.

No rear doors here 😉 They screw into the trim that hold the nets on. You cut the nets with a razor and the. screw the panels into the plastic. Before: After:

You have to cut the nets off to mount these. I'd go with the red they offer, to match your dash, but that's just me. It depends on what you want. Red would pop more, black would be more subtle. I'm not really the subtle type. I painted mine to match my dash and I like how it helps tie together...

You're right, they don't expand and you have to use molle pouches to have any storage space. My mail still fits behind it, which is all I ever really put in the net anyways. There's not much space to mount pouches without having them interfere with the seat controls but you can get creative. My...

I got these from AAL and added some Multicam Black pouches for extra storage, a Nalgene bottle holder, and added a tourniquet to each door since this pic was taken. Every little inch of storage helps in this little Jeep :)

Just throwing out an idea for anyone interested in these Rubi flares… I bought a set in similar condition for cheap for my Sport. Then I chopped them / added the Quake LED fender braces, and sprayed the flares in bedliner. The bedliner will hide the damage, looks awesome IMO, and holds up...
