Of course I'm having the dreaded radio reboot issue. I even turn it off and notice that it reboots when the radio is off since it flashes the Jeep screen. Any guys had luck finding a fix or is it a sit and wait type thing?

My radio started to do this the past couple of days. Now it resets multiple times a day and it even does it when the radio is off since I can see the Jeep logo flash on and off.

I hope that's the case but usually it's a new part number if they update it. Got mine redone and it was the same part number.

Don't think so since recalls are usually for safety issues. Luckily we got the extended warranty. It sucks because FCA know its an issue on a lot of their vehicles. Its our first FCA product but we still love the jeep. Must be a jeep thing lol

The only problem I see is the replacement part has the same part number. So technically it could happen again but so far so good for me.

Yes had it replaced under my extended warranty but had to pay a deductible. They know about it. Service guy had a stack of them on order

Its 2018 with 60k miles. The service guy we spoke to also had a stack of orders for the 8.4 inch screen not just for the JL wranglers. Anything from Durangos to Hellcats so they obviously know about it but don't want to do a recall

We had the same issue supposedly due to heat from living in Houston. Had it replaced today under extended warranty and they charged us $65 as deductible. I thought it was a $200 deductible but whatever its fixed. Only issue is that FCA did not redesign this part. Its the same exact part so...

For those that have gotten the screen replaced has it happened again? Just asking to see if its actually a fixed issue since it seems like its occuring in other FCA products from Durango to Hellcats.

Just replaced the main battery about a month ago now I'm getting a warning on the dash that says auto start stop not available. I'm guessing the aux battery is bad but does this power anything else? Cause I'm kind of liking not having the ESS system on. Would it be bad to not replace the aux...
