If I hookup the battery tender to the main battery will that charge the aux battery? This is for my early 2018 JL, I think some changes have been made throughout the years. Any pictures you have would help with routing for clean installs.
For those who have installed pillar lights or even bumper lights have you taken the jeep through the carwash without damage? I want to add lights for winter/summer night runs but sturdy enough to hold up to carwash abuse.
There are ten million threads regarding caster and bad steering that all seems to wander off track without getting to the point. Can some help this simpleton out so I can understand it. I am running a 2.5" lift with 35" tires and I do have adjustable LCA's. My current caster is at 3.1 even on...
It has been very hot in Vegas and my Jeep lives in the fully insulated garage very pamper life really, I had noticed this black sticky glue oozing all over the place, just a heads up because I managed to get some on the tan interior.
I finally located a lift kit. I had a local Jeep club member do the install as I am still recovering from Knee replacement. For those curious I have posted a few photos in different stages from stock, 1.5" daystar level kit, level kit with 35" tires and last photo 2.5' TeraFlex suspension lift...
First up, is it necessary to replace or upgrade the draglink after installing 2.5" lift and 35"tires?
Second, rear trackbar relocation bracket or adjustable trackbar or both?
I want the best of all worlds so I am looking for advice on adjustable shocks, Rancho RS9000xl is budget friendly and adjustable or Tera Flex 3.3 NOT budget friendly but doable. What real world experience do you guys have with either of these.
I recently installed a 1.5" level kit but it came with shock relocation brackets for the front shocks. My question is what shock should I go with? Current shock is stock rubicon just need a little longer and I want to replace all four.
So this weekend I installed the Daystar 1.5" level kit and that gave me the exact look I wanted. Now my question is can I just order springs to get the same look without using a spacer?
So, what spring and what length shock to keep the same ride as stock or close to?
I really hate the rake look and I want the jeep to set level. My plan is new rims/35" tires, my question is will leveling spacers work OR should I replace the springs and will that level out the Jeep?
Here it is, I have come out of the Jeep (sorta). When I bought my Jeep and was driving home I started to notice folks waving at me so naturally I thought something or someone is stuck on the jeep so I actually stopped and checked but found NOTHING. As the days have passed and more people waved I...
Long story short, I bought my jeep first week of January but had no time to play because my partial knee replacement had failed so what little time I had was spent prepping for second surgery on Jan 22, I spent the next four weeks bugging the jeep community from recovery items to upgrades and I...
Got an email stating they are having a little promotion basically a free Bolt pad lock with purchase of JL hood lock. My question is how well do these hold up and are there any known issues before I place my order? Yes I realize there are a million threads regarding the Bolt hood lock but I am...
I really want the factory low grill guard but it is a little pricey so the alternative would be the warn low grill guard. Can some of you post a side picture and measure the height of the guard? Basically I like the clean low profile look.
I have been kicking the idea of adding either a HiLift jack or a bottle jack that will be tall enough to jack up a stock Rubicon. What is everyone's take on the HiLift with stock factory steel bumpers and rock sliders?
