UPDATE: got my JL back from dealership yesterday. They found the loose connection of the ground strap of the 48V battery. They tightened it, and so far so good.
visited the dealership this morning, they found both batteries with low voltage. They are charging the batteries, and will test driving the vehicle late today. No idea what caused the low voltage of the batteries.
I put 600 miles on this vehicle in 12 days after purchase, no battery issue.
Then, I drove it to Yellowstone, 2600 miles in 7 days. No battery issue.
The second day I was back from Yellowstone, all issues came out.
I don't think the steering wheel issue is related to the battery. i monitored the battery voltage. The steering issue occurs when the voltage is stable at 14V. There are many threads in Wrangler forum complaining the steering wheel problem in JL.
I traded in my 2014 JK and bought a new 2019 JL Sahara in December 2019. Only 3 weeks after the purchase, I saw a lot of issues with this brand new JL:
1. check engine light came on, with code U0074
2. battery warning light came on, showing low voltage
3. auto start/stop warning light came on...
