  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Working on my roof rack/basket situation...
  2. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed a Midland 2 way: I ran the cables through a hole I made in the glove box where they'll come out under the dash... Still need to hardwire the power in and mount the antenna.
  3. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

That's an amazing roof rack! One of the best, if not the best available for the JLs.
  4. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thanks! I just cut two strips of stainless steel sheet that was thick enough to be strong, but just barely thin enough to bend by hand. Taped off the rail with painters tape to keep it from getting scratched, and then bent the ss against the rail to contour it in a clamp-like shape. I used some...
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

    Made my own flashlight mount
  6. Is a JL wrangler a good daily driver???

I did a 100+ mile SoCal freeway drive last night, with up to 85 mph... I was amazed (again) at how comfortable, stable and fun these things are even for longer, faster trips.
  7. 2019 Wrangler Limited JL issue -- won't start, nothing but emergency lights blinking

Agreed. I got an Odyssey Performance series next, but have since put in an XS Power battery...
  8. 2019 Wrangler Limited JL issue -- won't start, nothing but emergency lights blinking

Mine went dead two weeks after taking the Jeep home, and the aux battery a few weeks after that... There are many reports of the batteries the factory put in the JLs failing prematurely. It might have something to do with the so-called smart alternator that, to my understanding, only maintains...
  9. 2019 Wrangler Limited JL issue -- won't start, nothing but emergency lights blinking

You just need a new battery... When your second, smaller battery is dead it will just deactivate the annoying start-stop feature and give you a message about that on the dash, but it won't affect anything else. P.S. I have been driving with a dead aux battery for almost 2 years now, and I...
  10. What do you store in your JL rear under floor cargo bin?

2 amps, a DSP and a bunch of cables! Lol. The rest of the trunk is filled with a sub (or two).
  11. Rugged Ridge MaxTerrain vs Bushwacker Hyperform

Is anyone running these? They do look great, imo...
  12. Rubicon Suspension on 2-door Sport

Wow! Not sure if theirs a firmer/taller spring...
  13. Post pics of your Rubicon on 35s no lift

Perfect combo with those wheels. Looks awesome!
  14. Audio Build - My neighbors are gonna hate me

Added .5" spacers to the rear to make up for the sagging from the heavier sub box... The rear is now 1/8" higher than the front. That's as close to level as I can get it, I think.
  15. Audio Build - My neighbors are gonna hate me

Well, the extra weight dropped the rear about 3/8" (I like the front/back to be as level as possible), so .5" spacers will be going in soon...
  16. Audio Build - My neighbors are gonna hate me

DONE! These 12"s are incredible!!! Talk about close, huh?!
  17. Audio Build - My neighbors are gonna hate me

Haha! That would be nuts/awesome, but it would have to be TWO 15"s... ;) This 15" is rated at 1,000 watts and I'm giving it an estimated 2,200rms right now, so it won't last long like that, ESPECIALLY in a ported box...
  18. Audio Build - My neighbors are gonna hate me

The two 12"s, are hands down the winner. To my taste and IMHO, it's like this: #1 - two 12" Brahmas #2 - 10" Hutchinson #3 - 15" Brahma AGAIN, this is BEFORE touching the tune. I'm certain the 15" would sound better after tuning (as would/will the two 12"s), but the 15" has not blown me away...
