I have a 19 JLU 2.0 with eTorque that has suddenly started with this same issue. I took my doors and the top off about five days ago and two days later I'm suddenly dealing with a battery drain. I've checked to make sure everything is turned off when parking it but after 2-3 hours of sitting...
I designed the graphics and layout and sent vector files for the graphics to a place here in Illinois that does custom auto graphics and complete wraps. They made and applied the graphics based on my designs. The original "WARBIRD EDITION" lettering was also applied in a chrome vinyl by them...
So, for the past couple of weeks, I have had a Robin that spends several hours a day flying up and down the back window of my Jeep (trying to get in or trying to get something it likes inside). It seems to stop only to shit on the top of my spare tire. The top of my spare tire is so covered...
So, I don't know if I wrapped my head around this entire thread right, but you upgraded the radio (obviously), needing a different antenna for automatic updates?... and did you also have to have some dealer programming done so the automatic updates would work?
Regarding the wobble... I had the death wobble on my JLU Sahara whenever I hit a bump. Although it's an extremely nerve racking feeling when you're going down the highway at 75, at least this Jeep recovers within a few seconds. I've had it much worse on two past Wranglers where I had to pull to...
Does anybody have issues with their AM radio muffling out on the 7" Uconnect. Between sports broadcasts, news and a talk show here or there, I listen to AM radio far more than any other broadcast medium but it drives me crazy that every 2-3 minutes it sounds like the person talking on the radio...
Interesting. I was very familiar with the discrepancies in Boyington's "kill" rate and how there were strong indications that his numbers were likely padded, but I'd not done much reading into Kawato's side of the story.
Yea, Being a huge warbird fan and Corsair junkie, I've read a lot about "Pappy". Here's a couple quick facts... The name "Pappy" was given to him by the press. The men in his unit knew him as "Gramps" (He was in his early 30's while they were closer to 20). Late in life he used to appear at...
I'm happy with the way it turned out, with the exception, maybe, of the chrome "Warbird Edition" text. When the weather warms up a bit I think I'll find some chrome 3D lettering (similar in size and shape to the original Sahara letters that came off) and replace the "Warbird Edition" text.
I thought about going with a supplier like pixeldecals, but at the end of the day, I just decided to have the graphics installed professionally, so I'm having Mo-Graphics in New Lenox, IL, do all the work. I can create the vector files for what I want done but when it comes to actually...
Does anybody know what font is used on the stock "RUBICON" JL hood-side decals? Having some custom graphics work done next week and I've been bouncing between a couple different fonts, but would like to see my design looks like in the stock Rubicon font.
Looking for help... I'm designing a custom graphics package for my JKU and am looking for dimensions of the "RUBICON" hood side graphic. It won't say Rubicon (don't want to piss off the copyright lawyers), but just want to match the dimensions (height and width) of the full graphic.
Thanks... Out of curiosity, a little off topic but, although they look like black stock wheels, they appear to kick out a little farther. Are you using spacers and what kind of lift (if any) do you have?
