Actually picked it up in August. Been busy lol but I did a factory order, took about 7-8 weeks. This is my third JL, figured if I’m spending the $$$ I wanted it my way. Lift going on (hopefully) this weekend and wheels and tires on their way.
DO NOT use any Fram basic filter or any generic filters (usually low grade Fram). What's the best buy on filters? If you're going to keep the Jeep for awhile, go to RockAuto or Amazon and order a case of Wix or Mobil1 filters. Also, Oreilly does specials on oil and filters where you can...
I used to work at an auto parts store and I've cited this Mini Mopar page several times when telling people to use either the Wix or the Purolator when available. Sadly, the Purolators have limited availability in many parts of the country, but they are good filters.
My jeeps stay dirty all winter no matter the color. If the weather is good I'm out on the trails as much as I can be before the summer heat comes back to Arizona then it sits in the garage all weekend. Having a clean, shiny Jeep is a once-a-month treat for us lol.
I had a JK when I lived up...
I just ordered this combo on a two-door Rubicon. As for tan leather, you'd need to get that from the aftermarket, unless the Sahara has it available. Sport models do offer a tan cloth interior.
I had the Mopar lift on my Sport and I wasn't impressed. It rode stiffer than many other lifts, and as some people have mentioned, the lift actually yields more than 2" on a Sport (lifts are generally rated on how much it will add to a Rubicon, so add another 1-1.5" for Sport/Sahara models)...
Hopefully folks are still reading this thread. I have a 2019 Rubi Unlimited with the 6-speed. I thought I would like it, but after actually researching the ratios of the transmission (yeah, I know I should have done that before buying it), I realize why I don't. The thing I hate most is the...
Dave Harriton, AEV's founder, is a U Montana grad so he's very familiar with the importance of protecting the front of the vehicle from road rats. I don't know if AEV still has their office in Missoula, but it's just a couple hours down I-90 from where I'm from and that part of the country is...
Ouch. Yeah, that didn't go well for the Honda. I did go back and re-read that the OP had the steel factory bumpers. If I had them, I'd just add the winch plate and call it a day. If someone were to offer me a take-off for a reasonable enough price that I could buy the winch plate and still be...
I've run ARB on everything that I can, as they are the most durable you can get at the price. I've seen the AEV and it looks great and by the looks, it seems to be tucked closer to the grille and possibly offers a better approach angle than the ARB. For me, since my off-roading style doesn't...
Just curious, has anyone done this or even thought about it?
Here's the logic behind my thinking. I've asked several employees at three Jeep dealers about whether an aftermarket lift will void my warranty and of course I've gotten all different answers. My wife's cousin works at a Jeep dealer...

I just picked up this JLU on Saturday.... late Christmas, early birthday! I'm so happy to not be Jeepless... it was almost a year since I sold my JKU.
This will be my third Wrangler and seventh Jeep vehicle in my lifetime. My first Wrangler was a 1994 that I bought when I was stationed in SW...
The Sting Grey isn't growing on me, it's already grown and I literally went in to buy a new one in Sting Grey. But, since my JKU and my wife's Grand Cherokee are Billet and now my JL is, I guess I'm stuck...
