The limit is set by what tires come on the jeep. MT get limited to 97 and the street tires gets limited to 110/115(it on of them).
You can use JScan or AlfaODB to adjust that limit.
I am still waiting on the dealer. the new turbo is still not here yet. the new date for the part to be at the dealer is now 2/17.
but i will update when we have some more news.
i get you 100% man. as we move closer and closer to all electric vehicles being a thing. I bet that we start to hear more stories about hacks against them. that is a big reason that manufacturers are pushing to lock down access to the computer on the vehicles.
it is a crazy time we do live in. but like it was said. the chances of that happening would be really really low.
the more likely thing that does happen is that criminals will walk behind you and clone you key signal.
If someone really wants to get your jeep they will get it. as to kids just...
the jeep needs to be on for those ports to be active. but technically someone could use a bypass cable and a wifi odb2 adapter. than push everything back in the dash and you would never know. at that point when you start the jeep they could have access to your jeep.
Wow you got I was not versed by me saying that for ME the unmarry and the potential problems that can come with not doing so can brick a ecu.
I am very knowledgeable on both and both are great. But for ME and what I use them for Jscan is the way to go. Never did I say one was better than the other.
The reason it's really important to unmarry the tazer is that it takes a snapshot of the current ecu. What you unmarry it the tazer than writes that back to the ecu. So if the dealership updates the computer for any reason and you decide at a later time to write back the old code and that has...
not sure if you have taken your jeep into the dealership yet or not. but we both seem to be having the same problem.

1 injector
4 sparkplugs
o2 sensor
they are now saying my turbo is bad and they are going to replace it. its going to take them 3 to 5 days to get the part...
