  1. Fire Extinguisher 👍🔥 = thx Everyone 🙏/ I ordered the ELEMENT Fire Extinguisher Today 👍💯

I carry a fire extinguisher in my jeep and it actually helped at a local restaurant that had a kitchen fire. A grease building up on the massive BBQ oven caught fire and was a wall of flames. I ran to my jeep, grabbed my fire extinguisher, and gave it to the one of the employees and my...
  2. Insane Used Jeep pricing.

The HUGE advantage in buying new is that you'll know the vehicle's history from the ground up...with used vehicles, you just never know if the vehicle was abused or not, or if it was carefully maintained or not. By buying new...you are in complete and total control from everything from proper...
  3. Insane Used Jeep pricing.

Back in December 2020, I traded in 2 jeeps in order to get my JLUR. The first jeep was a 2013 Sport S that I bought used in Jan 2018 for $22K with 50,000 miles on it. In December 2020, The dealership gave me $20K for it with 90,000 miles on it. It sold for $24K in 3 days. The 2nd jeep was a 2020...
  4. Who has taken their JL on a long road trip and what was your experience like?!

I just got back from a 3300 mile road trip from the Seattle Area to SoCal and back with my 2021 JLUR, and I found the Jeep to be very comfortable and I had no issues at all. My Rubicon is stock with no lift and the KO2 tires. I never felt any fatigue or soreness, but I always make it a point to...
  5. Stranded and Towed to Dealer AGAIN

I have the Stinger Heigh10 with the Jeep Integration kit, and one of the great features of that radio is that I can turn off ESS, and the radio has a memory setting that remembers the last setting of the ESS of being on or off, so I just leave it off. Its nice not having to always remember to...
  6. Has anyone else been the victim of unprovoked road rage since having a Jeep

I agree...coming from Seattle, everytime I visit California, (Mainly LA area) its astounding how bad they drive in the LA area. Its awful driving conditions. Southern British Columbia, the drivers are agressive too, but LA area takes it to another level.
  7. Has anyone else been the victim of unprovoked road rage since having a Jeep

Hmmm....I have not noticed...I mainly drive my Jeep anywhere from Southern British Columbia to Southern California, and everywhere between. That being said though, I notice the most aggressive drivers in general are in the L.A. area and the Southern British Columbia areas. Where I'm from though...
  8. Would you buy another 2.0T? Why? Why not?

I'm very happy with the 2.0T in my 2021 Rubicon. I drove 1281 miles from Seattle to SoCal, down highway 395 at higher elevations and got 26.5 MPGs, and that included several side trips on some dirt roads / forest roads. One trip took me to 9500' elevation to a high sierra lake, and no issues...
  9. Heigh10 vs Insane Audio

I have the Heigh10 w/ the PAC Jeep Integration Kit, and I really like the setup. Looks like a factory installation and so far, after 6 weeks of use, I've had no issues with it. Its been very reliable (with the latest firmware update to the head unit). I upgraded from the 7" display, and...
  10. JL resale values are insane!

I bought a used 2013 JK 2 door Sport S in Jan 2018 for 22K at a toyota dealership with 55,000 miles on it. In December 2020 when I traded it in for my 2021 JLUR, the dealer gave my 20K for it at just under 90,000 miles, and resold it for 24K 2 days later. My 2020 Willys was on month 12 of a 39...
  11. Who’s ‘Upgrading’ to a Subaru?

I love the Jeep Wrangler, but if I did not own a Wrangler, I would most likely own an Outback. I've driven them extensively and I think they are great wagons. They are very popular here in the NW as many people use them for road trips, outdoor activities, great in the snow, etc. I knew someone...
  12. Stinger Heigh 10 or Insane Audio JL3001

I have the Stinger Heigh10 with the new Jeep interface unit, and so far its been working well. I upgraded from the 7" display and it does maintain the factory camera view. I use Apple Car Play, which does give the artist name, and text information, including when using the XM App within carplay...
  13. 8.4 Upgade Update Question

I just installed the Heigh10 and Jeep Integration Module last week, and so far, its been working well. A very nice upgrade from the 7" unit that I had. I'm running the firmware that was released in Dec 2020 (with October 2020 date), and its really been trouble free. One issue though, is I'm not...
  14. Stinger Heigh10 10" HeadUnit Upgrade in 2018 JL

I just had this installed in my jeep this past Sunday, and so far it's running well. I have the Firmware that's dated 10-27-2020 (released Dec 1st?), but have yet to install the 02-24-21 update, as it looks like I need to update the PAC to V14. Also, I'm not getting any altitude or coordinate...
  15. LED headlamp in snow: has anyone wished or tried to switch to Halogen Headlamps?

I bought my JLUR with the halogen lights, and swapped them out with Beamtech LED bulbs in about 30ish minutes, but I ended up keeping my halogens, just in case snow became an issue and had to switch back. This was a consideration when I bought my new JLUR, in that I wanted the default halogen...
  16. How many miles on your 2.0t?

My 2020 JLU Willy's had 12,335 miles when i traded it in for my 2021 JLUR (which now has 3000 miles), so across 2 vehicles, the 2.0L has been a good engine (knock on wood). I did a 3700ish mile road trip on the 2020 JLU. including steep mountain passes, to L.A. Gridlock, to off roading in the...
  17. Sat phone recommendations?

While that is a good feature, if you have a breakdown or electrical issue with your vehicle, the SOS feature may not work, thus, in my opinion, having a stand alone inReach device is better, plus its portable and you can take it with you on hikes, etc.
  18. Sat phone recommendations?

I just bought a new Garmin Montana 700i with inReach. I have maps preloaded and its a sturdy device as well. I sometimes do long road trips with no cell coverage, and if I have a breakdown, I can use the SOS function. I ready on another thread that using SOS for mechanical breakdowns is...
  19. Important for those that have a brand new Jeep - check your fuses!

As soon as my new 2021 JLU Rubicon was parked in my garage, the first thing I did was check the fuse box, and many of the fuses and relays were not secure and needed to be pressed into place. Same thing was the case with my 2020 Willy's as well.
  20. 2.0T knocking noise

My 2020 JLU Willy's 2.0L was very noisy like that when it was cold, and produced a lot of steam out of the exhaust for the first few minutes after start up, then went away after about 2 minutes and was fairly quiet. On my 2021 JLU Rubicon with the 2.0L, its much much quieter, with significantly...
