what are you trying to put in the jeep that wont fit in one of those places? when I go to the store i put everything in back and dont worry about it anymore since its locked up
dont keep anything in the car that cant be put in the glove compartment, center console or the covered trunk area and locked... if you dont have the doors on that point would be mute
the front straps of the back piece have to come off and go to different spots to hook up. sometime thru the roll bar and other times in between the soft top rails. get the 1 piece and save yourself a headache. the whole thing also flaps alot.
I just mounted d rings in the ceiling and used ratchet straps... works great. I do have topsy brackets for the back window to mount it to, but haven't installed them yet.
I would still go wire to a 8 ohm to be safe.. 1 of the speakers is 4 ohm and the other is 8 ohm...all new speakers would be full range unless you put a crossover on it yourself... I put bass blockers on mine so they aren't trying to play the low frequencies, its alot cleaner sound
Yes, both sides cannot be there either. That is why I built the front version the way I did. Right behind the roll bars is the the space needed for the too to go all the way down and lock in place. I can leave the back dropped down at the 90° position and anyone sticking their hands in there...
I am thinking of putting a back piece on with a piano hinge to seal it when the top is up, I'm unsure that will work though.. This is still just version 1. It is working good so far
