I've been searching here and googling and still can't figure this out. My JLUR has been basically in storage for 6 months. Just got home, hooked the batteries back up, and now I have two issues:
1) auto climate control only has two temperature positions "Hi" and "Lo." If you try to move the...
I was looking for a thread like this.
MSRP after tax: $65,386
Actual price paid: $56,483
Mods added: $11,268
Take-offs sold: $1,470
Total net spent so far: $66,281
I figure I've got about 5k in mods still to go (steps, belly skids, lights, steering)
I'm using the off-the-shelf valving. And I think it's fine. Highway I use 3-4 clicks from soft. Offroad I stiffen it up a lot. But it works well both on and off-road.
So why do people think this is an FCA mule? I'd love to be wrong, but this isn't how FCA operates. I live in southeast Michigan and see camouflaged vehicles all the time. Just saw what must be next years Suburban yesterday (spoiler - slight change in body lines. You heard it here first). When...

I was referring to China Peak and Rice Peak, both in southern Arizona. China Peak is so tight you end up doing the turns with one tire in the air during the back and forth because it's so steep in addition to so tight. And that's with full flex and sways disconnected.
That's a silly comment. Those reinforced hinges will not handle this load....long. especially after I hang another 50 pounds in fuel and shovel/jack on it.
I love their feature that locks the rear inside wheel so you can do tighter hairpins. We've done some hairpins on mountains so tight that I didn't think any number of backs-and-forths would do. One place they actually recommend just going backward up each alternating switchback. My wife...
I'm just laughing my ass off at the "Montana, USA" sticker. I drive by their home office facilities (at least I did before I went full "working from home" mode) to and from work every day......in southeast Michigan. Company might have bee founded in Montana, but it hasn't been there forever...
Put the hood decals on to match the vents I did yesterday. And I realize this looks Recon-ish, but the wife had decided on this look last Fall before the Recon package existed. I also know a lot of guys get rid of the red rather than add to it, but with color-matched Sting gray wheels we both...
I'm in Tucson half the year and have done trails all over the State. FB groups are your best bet. Very easy to find groups of 4 to 15 Jeeps going out together all the time.
I've had the same shocks on mine for about two weeks and LOVE them. Curious how many clicks from full soft are you running the large knob? I'm at 4 clicks off full soft.
