I have a set of Mojave wheels and tires for sale. LT285 70 R17 (33") Wildpeak MT. 1800 miles. 5 tires and 4 Mojave black wheels with a metal rim on the spare. $800 Tires are mounted and balanced but no TPMS. I am willing to drive some to meet with buyer if interested.
Mojave! I took screen shot of BAM price, dealer matched!!!!!! $317. Got tires 35x12.5x17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers from dealer. Buy 3 (4), get one free. I just let dealer handle everything. I'm a happy jeeper!
Our JL has a 2.0. Over 12,000 miles and a year old. We are at 23.8 mpg with 33". The Mojave has a 3.6. The 2.0 shifts smoother, is faster, I know a different vehicle, and just a smoother running engine. Been very happy with the 2.0.
That kid has talent. You are seeing more and more drone videos now.............but he really has an eye for getting the impact of what he is shooting. Great video!
The problem is the manufactures in China. Everything is a mess right now.
Now, if they are out of stock, it should say "out of stock". They just do not want to loose the sale.
They look great. Went out to the Jeep place this afternoon. Well, on the way out, I was thinking they probably sold them, they did. Will have another set in Tuesday. BAM looks like the place to order from.
Mike, I don't know...........I will ask the parts guy tomorrow.
Chip, post some pictures when you get everything installed. Sounds like a great looking Jeep!
Mike.......are you planning on powder coating/painting the rings? I have talked to a body shop about painting them orange to match the trim. I am really going back and forth on painting the rings.
"not so straight forward" is a good way to describe it. So now the question is, is the Mopar 17x8 beadlock wheel 8" OD or listed as a 8" wheel that is really 9" OD. It looks like others list and measure wheels by OD not ID then add an inch to calculate offset/back spacing. So, not all 8"...
Back space, offset and wheel width make a mathematical formula:
if 8" wheel 0 offset then 4" backspace 8/2=4 4+0= 4" backspace
if 8" wheel +12mm offset then 4.472" backspace 8/2=4 4+.472 = 4.472" backspace (Mopar beadlock)
So if 8" wide is correct, +12mm offset is correct then...
There have been some comments on traction control use on the beach. On our last trip about a month ago, I went back and forth turning traction control off and on. I could not tell the difference. Now we were just slow and steady and never had any situations where we were bogging down. The JL...
These have been my all time favorite wheel for Jeeps. We went with an all silver wheel on the red JL. I am going to put these on the Mojave. Have a few questions.......
Going to paint the rings orange to match the orange outline of the lettering and badges. So do you put the rings back on...
My wife is really into this. It makes her smile and feel good making others smile. She has met 3 or 4 Jeepers face to face and have always had happy and up beat conversations. This is suppose to be a fun light hearted gesture just to make people smile.
Come on guys........really!
Well, we have a 2.0 in the JL and a 3.6 in the Mojave. The 2.0 has been awesome and gets great gas mileage and very peppy! You can really tell when the turbo kicks in. The 3.6 is not as peppy but is also in a bigger Jeep. Both have the 8 speed auto. The Mojave performs like a truck because...
I just got a new Jeep Mojave. I was very disappointed it did not have street tires, I read on the internet that I wanted street tires for sand. Anyone have any Sport S take off small street tires.......oh, I have a set, I am going to put them on the Mojave! Just kidding! This thing is a...
Texgoat hit the nail on the head! If the OP was not a troll for Carvana, they sure got a good bit of activity off this thread. He or she, intentionally or unintentionally was targeting people with negative feelings with their JL and offering an easy way out. They know exactly what Jeep models...
I really like my Ridge Grapplers. I was getting a little louder whine at higher speeds. Just had the oil changed and a 5 tire rotation and noticeably quieter.
Maybe swap out one tire at a time with your spare. That way you could isolate the specific tire/wheel if there is a problem. I was...
