Yes they covered it under warranty. They took a few days to come to the decision and 2 weeks for the part to come in. They should cover it for you I think Jeep is aware of this issue.

Update; Park Chrysler Jeep replaced the glass under warranty. They did a great job, great outcome!

Finally heard back from my dealer that my JB status of 48 days is due to no perforated leather seats available. how long could this take? Anyone else order leather on a sport S ?

I think this a special case. those codes seem like the system is queuing up a run schedule and is prioritizing. You order is going in and out of the queue based on other orders and the priority. This likely driven by JIT and the supply chain. Jeep has this luxury since the orders are in hand...
