  1. 2018 JL Unlimited 4dr Soft Top....Help!!

The metal bows that attach to the canvas have ripped loose. Iā€™m having this same issue. Iā€™m trying to think of a way to reattach the torn fabric without poking through the outside layer.
  2. Arizona WTB Lower Bumper Air dam (Plastic)

Are you still looking? I have my original one from when I installed a new bumper. North Valley around 67th/101
  3. Arizona [$50] Yukon G&A Chromoly axle shaft for rear D35 (29 spline, 32.3”)

I have an assembled chromoly axle shaft for a base model JLā€™s rear axle (can go in either side). The bearings were pressed in by a professional shop, and the wheel studs are pressed in the 5x5 pattern. I purchased this looking to repair something, and wound up replacing the whole rear axle. Iā€™m...
  4. Arizona 2019 JL Sport Axles-Front D30 & D44 LSD Rear

Hi, is this still available? Iā€™m interested in the rear axle assembly, or even just one of the axle shafts if youā€™ve already begun parting it out. Iā€™m located nearby and I can pickup

  7. My Top speed 2021 rubicon

Alright, hereā€™s your pics. Speedo reads 102. JLU sport with 3.6 V6, 8speed auto, and 3.45 final drive ratio. In another comment, you ask what youā€™re doing thatā€™s hindering your top speed. Itā€™s just that you have different equipment. The taller 4.10 gears are the largest factor, meaning you get...
  8. My Top speed 2021 rubicon

You sound pretty upset ngl
  9. My Top speed 2021 rubicon

Before you get more irrationally upset, you should realize that doing a top-speed test in a rubicon puts yourself at an inherent disadvantage. The rubicon had a 4.10:1 final drive ratio as opposed to the 3.45:1 ratio found in the lower trims. That means that on a sport/Sahara, the wheels receive...
  10. My Top speed 2021 rubicon

I feel like everybody here is driving a completely different vehicle than me. Iā€™ve got a sport on 34ā€ K02s that gets up to 110+ mph, and feels smooth doing it. not sure what any of you guys mean saying that you get uncomfortable at 70+ mph. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  11. Clickbait Title: DOES ESS WORK?! You won't BELIEVE what happened on tank 105! (Fuel Consumption Analysis: 2 years, 122 tanks, 30k miles)

I may have missed it somewhere else in this thread, but have you tried actually reading the ESS tab in the dash display? It will usually tell you in the moment the reason for not activating. (Battery charging, outside temperature too high, wheel turned, etc.) Itā€™s frustratingly finicky.
  12. Clickbait Title: DOES ESS WORK?! You won't BELIEVE what happened on tank 105! (Fuel Consumption Analysis: 2 years, 122 tanks, 30k miles)

ā€œAssā€ pun aside, I always thought it was ESS because it stood for ā€œelectronic start/stopā€
  13. Wrangler JL Wind Noise

Bull-bars and lightbars destroy your aerodynamic profile (if you even had one to begin with) and throw off the airflow before it even hits the hood or windshield. That turbulent air makes way more noise as it passes over top of you than a laminar flow. Thatā€™s chump change compared to the fact...
  14. 4xe faked for free parking on college campus

I donā€™t think you quite understand how a hybrid works. Itā€™s not just 20 miles of electric driving, then gas. Itā€™s also a gas driven engine with electric assist, and it can use regenerative braking to recharge while driving, getting a whole 400 miles worth of 50 mpg if driving mixed instead of...
  15. Are you all using Premium gas ?

Same engine as the rest of the non-4xE 2.0 crowd, so it still applies
  16. Help! My wife HATES my new Jeep!

Iā€™m 6ā€™5 and I fit fairly comfortably inside the driver seat. Passenger seat is a whole different beast, because only the driver gets a seat height adjustor. Maybe thatā€™s the problem.

  18. Early buyers - Is your JL 3 years old yet?

2nd/3rd owner here, turning three in April. Lived its life with one owner, spent some time as a dealership loaner vehicle, then found itā€™s way to me. I picked it up in Oct ā€˜19 at 19k miles, and Iā€™m at 32k as of now. As for mechanical issues, Iā€™ve gotta take it in the dealership to have the soft...
