Sorry to hear that you're having the same issues with your Jeep. Hopefully FCA will cover it under warranty.
I have since sold my Jeep as I have lost faith in my Jeep. I was constantly paranoid that the transmission would fail again. The service department was trying to find every reason to...
I reached out to FCA Canada and they were not able to provide me with Extended Warranty for my vehicle. I am completely annoyed and frustrated with the service shop in their competence to diagnose and repair the vehicle. How do you state that you've test drove the vehicle and state that the...
I have reached out to @JeepCares for Extended Warranty for my vehicle. I am completely exhausted by the poor competency of the service shop in the ability to properly diagnose and repair the transmission in a timely manner and a result of electrical issues and a leaking exhaust.
Dec 17 update. After countless phone calls with the service shop, I have finally received my Jeep back 5 months later with a brand NEW transmission...and a exhaust leak. Of course a competent service shop always leaves you with something unfixed. ;) The service shop clearly has no quality...
Hopefully you wont have any future issue. I don't this issue is affecting all manual transmission Jeeps but there is a selected handful of transmission affected. A good friend has over 75,000Km with no issues with the transmission.
I'll take a look for the Manufacture sticker when I get my Jeep back. Although I'm not sure if that would help narrow down the transmission build date?
The service department is still waiting for the delivery of the new transmission.
Update on my transmission. They continue to refuse to replace the entire transmission. They are going to replace the throw out bearing and slave master cylinder.
Well it appears that my 1st gear grinds. I have to hold the clutch in for at least 1 second before putting it into first gear. If I shit it too early it just grinds. It just never ends. I haven't had the time to bring back into the shop.
I finally got my jeep back. They replaced 2nd gear (68334917AB), synchro (68334913AB) and sleeve (68334915AB). Hopefully no further issues in the future.
OMG! That's scary. I would be scared to accidently down shift into "reverse gear". They should have done their due diligence makes sure everything works.
Holy $&!T how does that even happen! WTF! You would think that they would have taken it for a test drive? That's scary. I for surely would not be driving it. Can you get a video of this? I need to see this.
I will defiantly be doing a test drive in their parking lot when I go to pick mine...
Well that's great that they are replacing the transmission. Hopefully it quick fix at the dealership for you.
I just talked to my service manager and they stated that the synchro will be arriving Sept 1. 6 weeks and counting.
I'm hoping some one can chime in on some parts availability.
68334913AB - Synchronizer - This one seems to be the major issue.

I totally get it. I work in the manufacturing business too and we are having substantial issues with labour and material. It's happening through out all industries. As a manufacture, you know your lead time, its how you operate. If you don't know your lead times then there's something wrong...
