Picked up mine today after the fix. Steering is tight as we all want it to behave. BUT, there is a half-inch dead spot left now, but hey this is much much better than before, where i had to drive with off-center steering which also had 3-inch dead spot. Now i can drive with a dead center...

Well they do have rental loaners on their lots. But they hate me already so i just want my steering box replaced and run lol. I have bugged them since last year and they told me that i am not welcome to their dealership. But i pulled some strings to get this tsb done with them.

Baker jeep princeton. Flemington jeep is another dealer who is also very welcoming as per my experience.

Cant wait now. My jeep is already at the dealer , they got the part too. He said they will work on it today but still they haven't took it in. I keep checking the location on my uconnect app every hour but its still parked outside.

Tell them to drive it above 65mph. That is what i told them to do. Since at slow speeds it is not noticable at all. Also go on a hot day. I have experienced that the steering becomes much looser on a hot day.

Mine is also a 2020 sahara and when the dealer checked he confirmed that mine does fall under the tsb. Infact all 2020's with loose steering and wondering symptoms fall under this. Check with some other dealer and see what they say.

Looks better to me too. Might be because i tried that F34 fuse trick this morning. So that is the reason the free play is reduced may be?

Cool. I am looking into getting after market parts such as the stabilizer and sector shaft. Just waiting on some few thing before that. I didnt take it upto 70. The free play is more aggressive at that point onwards. But you guys get the idea. Now i know i am not just thinking about it...

Can anyone go into their offroad pages and see how much steering you have to move in order to register 1 degree reading in the off road pages app? I had to move a my steering 45 degrees in order to register 1 degree movement in the off road pages.
