Raymon, it's the Rhino Rack Pioneer with backbone system. I'm pretty happy with it and recommend it. However, if you decide to go with this option, look at some of the forums on this topic as there are a few gotchas you should understand, as its not ready to install on the JL right out of the...
Yes, this was annoying. Rhino Rack sent replacements out pretty quickly. I don't know if they superglue the nuts in but 2 of mine were screwed up-pun intended. Luckily they made it right by sending out new ones, but its a bit of an inconvenience. You could tinker with it yourself if you want...
King_mamil, I lowered the back down and then moved to the front when I did it. In fact, I'm pretty sure they don't want you to torque it down until its seated at ride height with the cant, etc. complete. I didn't torque down until all four wheels were on the ground. And then do it again after...
I've only had mine installed about 6 weeks but no change on the height. I haven't loaded it down yet or done any wheeling so I can't speak to durability or handling off-road. With that said, I love the lift and so far would highly recommend it. The extra height above the 2.5" is kinda nice...
Update: Alignment fixed both lights as folks here stated. I let the pros at Firestone do the honors, plus they were running a lifetime alignment special on new years day for 50% off. Thanks for the help with this. So far, loving the lift.
Thanks ... so far so good but I only have a couple hundred miles of asphalt. I've been up to 80 mph on the highway and seems to be as good as stock. As far as aesthetics, world of difference. The stance is great and I've been receiving lots of comments. I'll echo what many other folks have...
Yes, mine intermittently cuts out as well. I've been needing to relocate the antenna for a while but just haven't gotten around to it. I'll have to look around to see what other folks are doing before I attempt, but I think its pretty par for the course with that system and the JLUR.
Thanks all. I haven't swapped tires yet, still running the stock wheels and BFGs. I'll post a response once aligned just to give other folks the heads up. Here are the before and after pictures btw. I'm measuring 4.25" lift in the rear and 3" in the front. Wondering if it will settle (hoping).
Question for people that installed the 2.5" AEV Dualsport RT JL lift themselves (I installed on a 2019 JLRU). After installation, and about 10 mi, I got a traction control light (ETC) and then a few miles later transmission light turn on. The instructions state to have a professional alignment...
You'll find it hard to find "Butyl mastic" in the United States. Here's what Rhino Rack pointed me to: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Permatex-3-oz-Ultra-Black-Maximum-Oil-Resistance-RTV-Silicone-Gasket-Maker-82180/308852434. They didn't say this one specifically, but this is what I used. I...
Did you have to drill new holes into the pioneer rack to align to the casters? It's hard to tell by your pictures but it doesn't look like it. I just purchased one and had to move the rails for the front and middle caster alignment because they don't align. I have a 2019 JLUR almost identical...
I just purchased this same setup for my 2019 JLU and am at the step to mount the quick release mounts to the Rhino Rack castings. First, I can't believe they only have one bolt to secure it, I'm not suprised you're having issues. Second, the internal nuts (connectors) in the casting don't...
