  1. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

Same here. No squeaks since I installed the tape a couple of months ago.
  2. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

I couldn't tell whether there was also tape on the side of the silver latch plate (the vertical surface where the side of the latch makes contact with the frame). The tape worked best for me when it was on both surfaces.
  3. TeraFlex Adjustable Spare Tire Kit Install How-To

Exactly what I needed to know. One of the big advantages of the Teraflex seems to be that you can adjust the distance from the tailgate to accommodate a wheel with a significant offset (I'm running 19" Fuel Beasts). Ordering the Teraflex now. Thanks again Bocephus!
  4. TeraFlex Adjustable Spare Tire Kit Install How-To

I’ve got an issue with the parksense reverse warning going off every time I go in reverse. The sensors embedded in the rear bumper are picking up my 35” spare. Did anyone else have this problem, and did moving the spare up and in with the Teraflex HD carrier resolve the issue?
  5. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

That’s the sound I had, although yours is a bit worse that it was for me. The frictionless tape eliminated it entirely. Hoping you (and others) have the same result.

  8. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

If the straw doesn't work, you might want to try the polyethylene tape solution. I put the tape on almost a week ago, and not a single squeak since. Applying the tape took literally about 2 minutes. Amazon link to the tape is above.
  9. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

OK, so I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but I think I found a solution to the squeaking. I put a strip of polyethylene tape on both surfaces of the silver bracket on the frame where the latch makes contact (one strip on the top where the pin rests, and one strip on the side of the...
  10. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

Thanks for the straw idea - I tried it but still had the squeaking. I also previously tried applying white lithium grease to the contact points, but no relief. I just bought a role of 1/2 inch acrylic non-friction tape, and will try this weekend to apply it to the latch contact points on the...
  11. Power Sky Removable Windows - Squeaking? Noises?

Add me to the list. On my JLU Rubicon, the squeak comes from the front latch on the passenger side removable window. Tried lubricating where the spring pin meets the frame (as a previous post suggested), but did nothing to fix the issue. I'd be great to hear more from the Jeep Care...
