  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Rhino rack (the SG59 model). Fits great, no interference with the sunrider.
  2. What's the best thing you ordered on your Wrangler

Love the prox locks, remote start, tow package, and the heated seats and steering wheel. The heater itself is amazingā€¦within 60 seconds of ignition it is an absolute blast furnace. My wife told me to figure out how to install ambient heat on the passenger dash grab bar - let me know if any of...
  3. Added Mirror Turn Signals

Finally found time to complete the wiring and get these things operational! https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/what-did-you-do-to-your-jeep-jl-today.3033/post-1693864
  4. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Only took 4 months to finally find time to complete the electrical work on this side mirror project, but got it done this weekend (wiring was a tedious pain in the ass, but Iā€™m happy with the result). Courtesy light underneath (operates in-sync with the dome light at unlock), turn signals, Baja...
  5. Giveaway!!! KC all NEW Cyclone V2 LED 6-Light ROCK LIGHT KIT

  6. Jeep humor waiting room ( ** NO POLITICS ** )

Is not the nuthouse @obwahn is always welcoming people to, but these folks have some sweet trailers (pricey, but sweet). https://nuthouseindustries.com/expedition-trailers/#walnut
  7. DIY Roof Rack for JLU 4xe with SkyOneTouch Roof

Well done - looks great so far! I like that it spreads the load by seating the rail within the 5ā€™ length of each gutter (unique vs other options on the market I think) as well as the vertical supports connecting to the rear bumper. I may have missed it in the pics but are there any clamp...
  8. Jeep humor waiting room ( ** NO POLITICS ** )

Gonna need to know the departure angle of the unseated fuses.
  9. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

Out for a cruise around town today and came across this old rust-colored CJ5. Not sure about the seat covers or radio setup, but gotta love the hoola girl, billiard ball shift knobs, black powder crate for storage, and especially the scrap wood tailgate with router cut insigniaā€¦great details!
  10. Added Mirror Turn Signals

Cheap leds from Amazon: Partsam 3/4ā€ smoked lens white led marker grommet light for the puddles (same light but in amber for the front-facing markers that will tie in with the fog lights). Theyā€™re not super bright like a set of rock lights, but good enough to see the side steps and any puddles...
  11. Added Mirror Turn Signals

Unfortunately not sure on the exact size. SInce the signal lights annoyingly didnā€™t come with screws, I had to just rummage through my workbench ā€˜junk drawerā€™ to find 4 random small (maybe 3/8ā€ or 1/2ā€ long) pan-head philips wood screws that worked.
  12. Added Mirror Turn Signals

Finally got the new caps and turn signals on, and expanded the project a bit with some Baja S2s, amber marker lights below the Bajas, and white markers under the mirror as a puddle/courtesy light. Hardware installed today, still need to wire it all up.
  13. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Swapped out the side mirror caps with the OEM export version to add signal lamps, and may have gotten a little carried away with the additional lighting. Hardware installed today, wiring still to be done. Baja S2 combos to light up the side blind spots will be controlled by aux3, 3/4ā€ smoked...
  14. Options for carrying a canoe/kayak

Yep, JLU. For sure, extra bar(s) would work well with the hardtop to increase stability of the boat. I mostly run my soft top during the parts of the year when Iā€™d have the canoe out. The 2 bar Exposed Racks is the only soft-top option Iā€™ve come across so far that does what I need, short of...
  15. Options for carrying a canoe/kayak

Agreed, no concerns at all about the rack or gutters supporting the weight. I just prefer (with my 17ā€™ canoe) to have additional tie-down points at both the bow and stern as a little added insurance to keep the boat from wanting to twist or shimmy at highway speed.
  16. Options for carrying a canoe/kayak

I run this same setup to carry my canoe, except I use a hitch mount Reese canoe loader. The pivoting top crossbar on the loader makes it easier to load (I would think) than the fixed crossbar of a bed extender. Iā€™ve got a set of Exposed Racks that are gutter mount with the hard top, and Iā€™ve...
