  1. Hot Shots EDT leaky bottle solution

I just use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00284AG6O?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details It is large enough for the EDT and the funnel. Bottle still leaks, but is it contained.
  2. 37's with 3-peak snow rating

Just as an FYI, Toyo AT3's are out there as well.
  3. Hydrogen... Jeep, are you paying attention?

Nice story. The big issue with this type of tech is that most hydrogen is being produced form natural gas, so why not just go with a NG power plant. Granted the infrastructure is not there for NG either. No matter what comes next , it will require a huge investment in infrastructure.
  4. What A Change In Technology

If you are interested in the LEDs, check out some of the sponsor pages as they are running Black Friday deals. Might come across something good. Congrats on the new ride!
  5. Wife Hates my 392 - Help me save my beloved beast - the Jeep that is :)

I have had my jeep for 2.5 years. It's completely modded, lift, tires, wheels, axles, 37" tires, the works. In all that time, my wife has NEVER driven it. I have offered and she is simply not interested. She has her Outback and she is completely happy with it. I really hate her Outback, nanny...
  6. Women jeepers viewed as lesser?

Let me ask a question. Do you wave with the expectation that you will get a wave back? Or do you wave because you are part or a much larger community. I wave at all Jeeps I pass. Whether they wave back is on them. Gender does not matter. Age does not matter. Don't overthink this. You want to...
  7. Fire Extinguisher 👍🔥 = thx Everyone 🙏/ I ordered the ELEMENT Fire Extinguisher Today 👍💯

Just as a refresher for those who do not know, here are the different classes of fires to better enable you to choose an extinguisher. Class A: solid materials such as wood or paper, fabric, and some plastics Class B: liquids or gas such as alcohol, ether, gasoline, or grease Class C...
  8. Included fuel with new jeep purchase

When I got my diesel from Dave Smith, it came with a full tank. That was in March of 2020, the window sticker also said 4 gls of fuel. Granted that was 2 years ago, things may have changed.
  9. What could go wrong at an oil change? You could get sued!

    Just posted today. https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/why-a-jeep-owner-is-sued-after-dealership-employee-was-killed-during-oil-change
  10. Pump price shock - how high will it go [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS & VIOLATORS BANNED]

We had one station that had diesel yesterday for $3.99 and this morning that same station was at $4.48. Crazy! Ya gotta wonder how they justify that since most of the fuel in their storage tanks has been there for a week or better.
  11. BRAKES CAUGHT FIRE on 4xe - Upgrade or replace with stock parts?

I have changed out the rotors for Frozen Rotors and Hawk pads. I also have SS brake lines. The rotors are Cryo treated and slotted. In the interest of full disclosue I have also changed the axles and calipers as well.. I have used these rotors for many year and have always gotten great wear out...
  12. Your 3.0L Diesel's MPG's, share with the class.

I have been getting 20-21 in the summer and about 19 in the winter. Combined driving. Jeep is running on Dynatrac 60's with 4.11's, also running Evo High clearance with about 4.5" of lift and NItto 37's.
  13. How to drive in snow and ice, for dummies...

Great advice from all. I would add the brake is not your friend on the snow and ice. Rather than use it, take your foot off the gas and slow down gradually. If you feel slippage in your wheels, take your foot off the gas and coast. If you MUST use the brake, a light touch is best. When you...
  14. How many miles is enough to begin modifications?

I have a JLURD, and for me it was more about parts availability than mileage. I ordered the Jeep in Oct 2019 and picked it up the end of March 2020. I started ordering parts in Nov 2019. Did a few mods, new hood, bumpers, and RSE steps. Then had to wait for parts to be developed for the diesel...
  15. Would 5'6" wife have issues climbing in / out of Rubicon?

My wife is 4'9" and nearing 60. With the assist of the RSE steps and grab handles, she has no trouble getting in. Of course that is stock. As I write this, my Evo Coilovers and Dynatrac axles are being install along with 37" Nittos. So we will have to see how she does now.
  16. Shop for Customer Supplied Lift Kit Install - East WA or NE OR?

You could always come to Silverdale WA and go to Northridge 4x4. They are a site sponsor. I know they are out a couple months to do any installs, but I would recommend them. They are in the middle of my install. Coilovers, axles, etc
  17. Lost Rear Spring.

Your all missing the point. He is simply laying the ground work for that suspension upgrade. We need to support this evolution of his Jeep. He needs to be able to show his wife that this has happened before that the best solution is to upgrade his suspension. "Honey, my right rear spring came...
  18. Repercussions of regeneration?

The issues is one of not knowing exactly when a regen is happening. Yes, you can infer when it happens by the reduction of mileage, and the smell. One would think that after all the time spent with RAM Gen 2 diesel, FCA would finally get around to adding messages to notify the operator that a...
  19. Totaled my JL

Glad you are OK. On the new one, get a better bumper and next time hit the gas! ;-)
