If the battery range is only 20 miles, and you charged 15 times in 3 months, did you only do 300 miles of electric driving In 3 months? Or did you do less since you didnāt deplete the battery totally before each charge.
if you did more driving, what was your fuel consumption? Iād imagine not...
Bumping thread because I pulled #42 and disconnected the negative. Remote Start would not work.
Does order matter? Should negative be disconnected , then fuse 42 pulled?
Curious if anyone else had this issue.
2020 JLUR.
I just did the #42 fuse pull and disconnected / isolated aux negative from the main battery because I was getting āauxiliary switches not available while battery chargingā message after starting. The message started about 3 weeks ago (after the Jeep was parked for a week).
I was still getting...
Yes, my 2020 JLUR has been a DD since new. 70 mile round trip daily work commute for 3 years, now work closer. Almost 70k miles. Oil changes, new set of KO2s about 10k ago, and 3 windshields. No issues otherwise.
As some have mentioned here, I would love to convert my current ice to electric once the tech and infrastructure is here.
i can envision kits being available for conversions for various makes and models as we approach the inevitable transition.
Fortunately there will be no taxes. In Portugal, there are usually 2 taxes for vehicle import, a 10% and 20% which would be roughly $24,000 for my 2020. Those taxes are waived since Iāve owned the vehicle for more than 6 months, has more than 6,000 kms, and will be imported during a full time...
Thank you. My concern would be that Iām required to get the factory euro bumper which looks horrific. if replacement is needed, a whole new search for more subtle compliant bumpers would begin.
I will be moving from US to Portugal. The only taxes I am seeing are 10% (waived if moving there) and 27% VAT if owned less than 6 months of mileage less than 6k. Those are the only numbers Iāve been able to find after a couple hours of research. I am still looking to consult with a...
Thats exactly where I am with it. I have no issue with updating the fog lights, side markers, and tail lights. The bumper may be a dealbreaker. At that point, Iāll sell before the move.
Other than making the necessary lighting changes, Does anyone know If a US JLU Rubicon 3.6 with factory steel bumpers will be acceptable for import to Portugal? i may be adding a winch before exporting. I have original window sticker indicating the steel bumper option.
i understand that the EU bumpers are very different and have concerns about importing my JL with factory steel bumpers. Does it make a difference if the vehicle is US stock as manufactured with steel bumpers? I have scrolled listings of used JLs in the EU and some have steel bumpers.
A few weeks ago I made an appointment at the dealership to have Warranty Claim submitted for mild corrosion on my doors and hood hinges. I received a call 2 weeks ago indicating that the work was approved for repainting and the process would take up to a week. . I knew that was Kicking the can...
don't forget current barometer readings, position of the moon and if we are currently in a summer solstice.
I'm not suggesting anything. I'm declaring as fact that insurance companies will decide whatever they want using whatever information they want. And that police do not decide who is at...

Are you still suggesting that an accident report containing details regarding observations, skid marks, debris trail, vehicles position upon officerās arrival on the scene, or presence and proper function of traffic control devices, or driversā statements will have NO...
Thats not true at all. There are many things the police indicate in their report that insurance companies take into consideration when determining fault.
