Did you ever post the video of the JL4001?
I have the unit and it replaced the JL3001. Works great and about to upgrade the speakers and add a subwoofer.
The only thing else is to have the service department at the dealer check the on off battery which I have no Idea how that would be affecting this situation. However I need to get them to fix this as well!
I have tried everything I can think of checking. the only thing is the multi meter. I see i can get for about 12 dollars. Never use so how would I go about checking all the locations you mentioned?
Yes the battery connected to the auto on off needs to be checked and I have read a number of post about it blowing when the negative connection next to the battery is disconnected.
It dose not feel like any thing in the fuse box is catching so do not think so. I pulled out a couple of the other fuses in the box and they catch but not the ones I installed
I understand that but the block has relays ans fuses listed as well and I read someone else the dealers had to install a fuse so I added the ones that show for HD ACCY #1 thru #4 — If Equipped10 Amp Red Micro, 15 Amp Blue Micro, also relays K17, 18, 20 and 21. still no power only thing left is...
I had to get new fuses and relays after installing the Aux switches and none fit in and none are clicking into the fuse box. Anyone have Idea about this? Not getting any power after install.
Can you tell me this? If there is no relays, K17,18, 20 & 21 in my fuse box could this be why there is no power getting to my AUX switches? I already put fuses F50 and F72 which someone mentioned were the fuses needed but if I have no relays that would not allow the switches to function as well...
