We just took our 2020 3.6 in for its first oil change. They billed for 6 quarts and when we inquired about it to the service manager was told:
“that engine takes 5.3 quarts and we do not bill parts in fractions so it rounds up to 6. We use an automated system that after scanning the VIN it...
Finished our install tonight. No real issues to report. Our camera fits well and flush. Not a fan of the factory third brake light but we’ll find a better option soon.
Mine was missing hardware pack 7. But as you pointed out, that’s for putting the hinge together and mine is also partially built. I was worried at first but looked through the instructions to see where those parts were used.
Mine was just delivered. I’ve got to say, this is the best packing job I’ve received on anything like this. I need to verify all my hardware is there before attempting the install this weekend.
For those running the 2.5” spacer kits on Rubicons, will this clear 37s? My wife daily drives her’s to work and it sees little to no off-roading. We do have three teenage kids that ride in the backseat though.
ClearPlex is the film being used around here. It’s $599 installed and requires monthly upkeep. Lasts 18-24 months I’m told.
I thought about using it on the Viper due to how hard it is to get replacement windshields. But at only $250 a claim, I’ll continue using insurance as long as I can.
We had this system on our 2012 JKUR and loved it. We recently picked up this 2020 and have already added the full UnderCloak system. This would make a Christmas to remember if we were able to put this system on our new JL!
Drove both and bought the 3.6. The 2.0 does have more torque down low but felt like it falls off up top.
Just curious why the 2.0 isn’t available in the Gladiator if it’s so good?
We have a Thinkware F200 F&R in my daughter’s Beetle that does good. I use a BlackVue 750-2 in the Viper. The BlackVue is much nicer but comes at a price premium.
