  1. Cut factory fenders and keep the lights

That's what I'm looking for. This does not seem to be very common. I don't know why.
  2. Cut factory fenders and keep the lights

Is it possible to cut the factory fender flares and keep the factory lights? I see options for replacing the lights, but I like the ones I have and would like to keep them. I just want to get rid of the bottom half of the fender.
  3. Harbor Freight Pittsburg 1.5 Ton Floor Jack Extension

I picked up a floor jack from harbor freight yesterday because it was on a good sale and I've been looking at it for a while to take wheeling with me. https://www.harborfreight.com/15-ton-low-profile-aluminum-racing-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-64545.html I need to extend the height of it, but I...
  4. Smittybilt x20 winch controllers on permanent backorder?

Sorry for the confusion, but I'm not looking to replace the entire winch. Just the controller. That is what is on back order. The winch is still fine and I have the corded connection that came with it. I may just build a switch box to use with the cord and use that until they start...
  5. Smittybilt x20 winch controllers on permanent backorder?

After losing one controller and running over another, I went to order a replacement winch controller for my Smittybilt X2O. I was told by 4WP that they are on backorder and have not seen any come in in the last 5 months. This has me thinking, I would like to go with something different. I'm...
  6. Knock Off Tailgate Reinforcement Bolts

Did you have problems with the torx head bolts or did you just decide to replace them with the hex head preemptively?
  7. Knock Off Tailgate Reinforcement Bolts

I just went from 35s to 37s on stock rims and I'm still using the stock tire carrier. I'm a little worried about the stress on the tailgate since I wheel this thing. I've heard good things about the bang for the buck from the Amazon cheapo tailgate reinforcements. Some people have...
  8. The Tire Carrier Thread

I see a lot of guys post about the knockoff reinforcements coming with cheap bolts. What was your experience?
  9. Testing New TPMS sensors

I took the advice of getting the Schrader TMPS sensors. BTW Discount is normally my go-to for tires and have a local guy who is a Jeep supporter. This time, I just got a deal that I could not pass up.
  10. Testing New TPMS sensors

Thanks for that link. I was not expecting to test before purchase as much as testing before installation. That way I don't have to pay to remount the tire if they are bad.
  11. Testing New TPMS sensors

Hi, everyone. I have a set of 37s on order and a set of Rubicon take offs that I bought off of Facebook marketplace. I need TPMS sensors for the wheels. I'm leaning towards buying a set off of Amazon for about $50, but I'm worried about them not working after they are installed. Is there...
  12. Swap blind spot sensor to a new non-blind spot sensor LED tail light?

I'm really surprised that it cannot be swapped. I would think the housing would be the same. Any recommendations for aftermarket besides Oracle? Too many people have problems with the blind spot monitoring for me to go that route.
  13. Swap blind spot sensor to a new non-blind spot sensor LED tail light?

I crunched my drivers tail light yesterday. I have it epoxied back together so it won't fall out, but I need to replace it. Can I buy a non-blind spot OEM tail light and swap the sensor in?
  14. How durable is bed liner on plastic fenders?

I still have my factory plastic fenders, and I like them, but dragging rocks and trees is starting to show some wear. How well will bed liner hold up when dragging branches or rocks? I expect that it will hold up to the random branch, but may not do well against rocks. Who has used Line-x...
  15. Dealer left oil cap off during an oil change and the Service Manager won't return calls.

I do, but you should not have to. Cars are just appliances to most people. They expect them to work and when someone works on them, they expect the work to be done right.
  16. Dealer left oil cap off during an oil change and the Service Manager won't return calls.

I've had mine for over 2 years and I still have not done an oil change. Lift, Bumpers, Winch, Lights and Rails, but I still have not done an oil change. I can't turn down free, and it's a good chance to get to know your dealer for warranty work. This was not my Jeep, but my son's. He...
  17. Dealer left oil cap off during an oil change and the Service Manager won't return calls.

Bad dealers just play games. I don't waste my time standing in a dealer lobby waiting on a manager. My time is too valuable for that. But if I did want to throw a fit in front of customers, it would not be on a Monday. :)
