  2. 2.0 or 3.6? Canceling diesel build

Surprised no one asked but why did you choose to cancel the diesel? I have the 2.0 and am very happy with it. It is very peppy but I will say it is a bit louder idling and such. It definitely sounds like a piece of machinery rather than a very refined motor. But hit that go pedal and it...

  5. How well do the safety packages work?

Not even a JL. Something else no one mentioned is insurance savings. I get a discount for having advanced safety. When I selected the option it stated the vehicle must be equipped with it from the factory to qualify.
  6. Steel bumpers = LED lights?

I have front sensors on my Ram. Unless it is sunny and dry they are worthless. Snow, Ice, Rain I just shut them off cause they re always going off when I get to a stoplight. Even Ford was smart enough to keep them off the front of their trucks. It is more of a headache than it is worth.
  7. What is the adjustable switch for?

If you rotate it all the way up the instrument cluster will show you how to use the forum search feature.
  8. Here's the NEW 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition

Dealers were blacked out from ordering the 3.6 for a while when that Jeep truck monstrosity came out. The only way to get a 3.6 was a customer order.
  9. 2020 2.0 vs 3.6

I have a Pentastar in my Ram. I am not knocking the 3.6 but I am defending the 2.0 because all of the false information about it. The Pentastar was redesigned and now has an 11.3 :1 compression ratio. Good luck with forced induction. Also the 2.0 out of the factory has more torque and better...
  10. 2020 2.0 vs 3.6

Everyone comments on 2.0 performance without even owning one. My fully broken in 2.0 doesn’t have any turbo lag. A test drive is not a very good indicator of how the vehicle will perform in the real world. I am not saying the 3.6 is a bad motor but the 2.0 is just all around better.
  11. 2020 2.0 vs 3.6

I have the 2.0 Non E torque in a 2020 Rubicon. No lag anywhere in the powerband. This includes from a stop and when downshifting to pass. Also, a test drive won't give you a great idea of the shifting characteristics. The transmissions on these new vehicles learn as you drive them. Both motors...
  12. Gotta love Selec-Trac!

If Rubicon came with selec trac in the US it would be on mine.
  13. Quadratec Aluminum Bumper

I am keeping it safe until spring. No point subjecting it to a salt bath. Let the stock plastic one eat it!
  14. Quadratec Aluminum Bumper

Yes the bumper does have angry eyes fog lamps. Finally got mine tonight! Not sure they will look all that angry once mounted though. The weight of the bumper is very impressive. Once I add the LOD Destroyer to the rear I am definitely going to need to adjust the headlights.
  15. Quadratec Aluminum Bumper

Anyone have the Quadratec aluminum front bumper? Considering the purchase but don’t know much about the company or quality. The other bumper on the short list is the Fab Fours Matrix.
  16. Differences in the 2020 JL thread

You can always get the gladiator dash panels (Leather look with red stitching just like the dash pad)
  17. The uconnect system in 2020 Jeep is really really bad and disappointing

Mine stays on the last setting. If I was in Carplay when I get in the Jeep it does not switch to another source like radio or SXM. It waits for me to plug the phone in.
