Hello: Selling my take-off Mopar black tubular sides steps. Removed at 5500 miles and they are in excellent condition. All mounting hardware included. Local pick-up only--can meet in the Twin Cities area to exchange. $250.
FWIW, we are finally getting some snow this year in Minnesota and I’m very pleased with how these Toyos are handling. As good, if not better, than the Duratracs (and I liked the Duratracs). But I don’t know how much of the performance is due to the tires vs the JL platform (instead of my JK).
My Jeeps are pavement princesses. Forest service roads when camping is extreme as I get.
I ran 32 inch p-metric Duratracs on my 18” Sahara JK rims for 12 years and loved them. Great in Minnesota winters, too.
I put Pintlers on my new JL so decided to try the p-metric 33” Toyo AT3s. Have only...
That’s helpful to know. I feel like they could have figured this out during the 5 months I waited for the Jeep or the 4 hrs it took to take delivery in July…
Yeah, that’s how I was looking at it, too. And, even if the affiliate code process falls through for them I have to believe they still made money from my sale—just not as much as they could have…
I've seen lots of the 30-day-wait issue posted but I couldn't find this after a bit of searching:
I joined TreadLightly Apr 15 2021.
Finally applied for my affiliate code in Jan 2022--code said it good til end of 2022.
Ordered my JL Sahara Feb 11, 2022--paid $1000 down to guarantee my price...
Mine hasn’t broken yet (only a couple months old) but every time I flip the visor up or down the rectangular plate attached to the windshield frame sure flexes a lot—so much so that I thought the screws holding it in place were loose (they weren’t).
I assume that’s “normal”?
Have already...
In Minnesota we get paper plates that are thick enough to stay in the rear license plate holder.
And I guess there are license plate supply chain issues as I’ve been waiting six weeks for mine and the DMV website states they’re just now processing end of June applications…
Was in the same boat as you—was ready to replace my 2010 JK. Joined Tread Lightly and obtained the FCA affiliate discount code good for 1% below invoice pricing. Ordered a new JLU Sahara exactly the way I wanted through my local dealer in mid Feb and finally received it in mid July. The wait...
Used less than a week. Added a great low rumble to my 2.0 turbo JLU Sahara but it failed spousal approval... In overall excellent condition but there is a small dent (pictured) where I used a wooden dowel to help seat it as far as possible on the OE exhaust--didn't have a flare tool and it was...
I ordered the Mopar black tubular side steps with my new JLU Sahara. I like the look better than stock but, without going into details, they don’t “fit” with the way I want to step as I enter and exit the Jeep as well as the stock ones (on my JKU) did. I have foot issues that make this...
Five 18" take-off rims from my new Sahara Unlimited. Like new condition (removed at 50 miles). No tires, TPMS, or lug nuts. $200 OBO for the set of 5. Local pick-up only. Can meet in the Minneapolis area.
Other than slightly worse gas mileage (how much of a hit do you get?) is there any other negative to using 75w-140 in the front? (This is for a Sahara, not Rubicon). I usually use the 75w-140 in the rear but it would be easier to just buy one type all the time...
