  1. Rock rail removal

There are three bolts and six nuts on each side securing them on the vehicle on my 4 door Wrangler. A 2 door might just have a couple bolts and four nuts. They're really easy to install/remove, takes maybe 15 minutes tops. I bought a set for my Sport S from a guy for $100. I see them for...
  2. Rubicon rock rails on a 20 Sport

I just did the same thing earlier this week. Got tired of looking at the pinch welds, looked unfinished underneath there. Found a set of Rubicon rock rails for sale near me for $100. Took me a whole 15 minutes to install if that. Looks much better now!
  3. BRIGHT WHITE Wrangler JL Club

Here's mine, just picked it up a couple weeks ago, my first Jeep ever, really enjoying it!
  4. Would you let your 16 year old have a Jeep?

Would never buy my kids a car. They can save and buy their own like I did. If they find a Jeep within their budget, then why not?
  5. Newbie - is this normal for a Jeep questions

I just recently picked up a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport S, my first Jeep ever. I test drove one beforehand as well just to make sure I'd like it. It definitely handles differently. The steering feels a bit looser, but it's never bad, and I never have any shaking or shimmying when I hit bumps or...
  6. The Jeep Gladiator is Struggling

There definitely seems to be less rear leg room in the Gladiator vs the Wrangler. I noticed that right away. There is zero room to put things inside the cab as well if you're using the back seat (i.e. kids or dog etc). I think they look cool with bigger tires on them, but I like the Wrangler...

I have to say, I've gotten SO many Jeep waves in the past few days I can't believe it haha! I'm now more cognizant when I'm driving to look for Jeeps going the other way. I'd say about 95% of Wranglers and Gladiators wave to me. I'm also glad I got white. My Jeep was wiped out the other...

I've heard of those before. I guess I'll see how it goes removing the freedom tops once it warms up. Looking forward to taking the top off this summer!
  9. The Jeep Gladiator is Struggling

The Gladiator is pretty cool IMO. The Rubicons look best, they need big tires to look good. There's definitely a market for them. I see tons of them on the road by me, but I'm close to Auburn Hills haha!

Still amazed by this Jeep, getting over 26mpg now! Never thought it would do this well! Drove it in my first snow storm the other day. Driving in the snow is fun now haha! I put it in 4Hi for a while, plowed right through everything no problem. Not hard at all to shift it into 4Hi, not sure...
  11. Dirtbike carrier

Maybe I'll just have to take the spare off when I cart the bike around. Sounds like if I did that I'd be home free for sure.
  12. Dirtbike carrier

I just watched a few videos on Youtube where guys had racks on the back of their Wranglers. It looks like there is plenty of clearance without a hitch extender. My buddy has a rack, so maybe I'll test it out first with that before I buy one. Would rather just use a carrier than get a trailer...
  13. Dirtbike carrier

Yeah I could see the problem being the handle bars getting in the way. The rest of the bike should clear with an extender. I guess I'll just have to try some different stuff out and see what works. Sounds like I'll need an extender of some sort though at a minimum.
  14. Dirtbike carrier

Cool, thanks for the input. I was wondering how the bike would fit with that big spare tire on the back. Looks like I can just get one of those extenders for it.
  15. Dirtbike carrier

Recently picked up a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and was wondering if anyone here has hauled a dirtbike on the back with a dirtbike carrier? I was planning on getting a basic trailer hitch and using the dirtbike carrier from Harbor Freight. Wasn't sure how much clearance there was with the big spare...

I know! I can hardly wait to take the top off and doors too! I'm sure that will be a blast! I can see why there are so many on the road, they're a lot of fun to drive! They look cool too. I really like this new 2.0L turbo engine too. Plenty of power and awesome mpgs. I'll have to...
  17. First time Jeep owner

Yep I was a little worried about having a 4 cylinder in a big heavy boxy vehicle like the Wrangler, but this engine has been great so far. Gets up and goes when you want to, plenty of power, never feels underpowered. And this thing has been getting awesome mileage so far, can’t believe it...

My daughter really loves the Jeep too!
  19. JLU Rubicon Average MPG?

I'm getting 24mpg in my Sport S. Do the Rubicon tires/gearing really kill the mpgs that much over the Sport/Sahara trim levels?
  20. 2020 Jl fuel efficiency

I've had my Jeep for just a few days and put around 500 miles on it, so far averaging about 24mpg. This is with the 2.0L turbo and 8 speed automatic. I'm very impressed!
