Thanks for the feedback. Thats what I was thinking but also considered that if they knew about the trade up front they would have another place to move numbers around.

Ive been considering trading in my 2019 JL with low miles because I really like the army green color, want bigger wheels and a trailer hitch. Would you recommend I be upfront about trading up or should I negotiate price first and then throw in the trade?

I just purchased a 2019 Unlimited Sport with a MSRP of $42,465 for $38,400 from a dealership in NJ. I was pushing for $2k lower on the price so they agreed to add it to my trade in. I’m new to the forums but from what I’m reading seems like a reasonable price.
