WTF Jeep??!!! I really hate how Jeep "force" the buyer to buy certain trims or options packages just to get one option they really want.

I backed out of a purchase because I found out in the last seconds that the dealer I was working with added that kind of crap on the vehicle I wanted. They didn’t disclose them until they were ready to send over the purchase agreement. My entire negotiation was done over the phone.

Tell the dealer NO! That is just an easy dealer markup. Also, it’s a Jeep. You don’t need ceramic coating.

I saw this today while browsing through some 2020 JLU inventory. This has to be one of the dumbest looking “option” on a Wrangler. I’m guessing this dealer took the liberty of painting the bumper to match the body color and selling it as an “option” upgrade.

Sucks that Jeep is forcing a trim on people just for certain options. I’m probably one of the very few who actually like the look of the Jeep steel bumper. I can go without the nav but the larger screen wouldn’t hurt.

I was going through the configurator last night for a 2020 Willys and noticed the steel bumper group nor the 8.4 display screen is not available for the Willys. I wonder why these options are not allowed on the Willys.
