For extra space, I am planning on picking up the Trail Rack for my LoD rear swing out. I was thinking put a cooler up there, use it for packing space on the way, and then as a cooler for drinks/lunches while there. We are all really excited to go already!
I also have the book mentioned above. It is my favorite of 3 I ordered from Amazon and I just put in a request to join that FB group.
Mid-July I am heading out there with my friend and her 16 year old daughter. We are all going out in my 2-door Rubi. That should be interesting. Not much...
Like I said above, it's hard to tell now that it's colder and driving it closed up. I don't hear it now. Looks like next weekend we'll have some 70's again and I'll probably take the soft top windows out one last time before winter and listen.
I just got my 2019 back today from the dealer for the steering TSB and some other services. I mentioned the rattling noise I was hearing on mine as well to see if there was something that could be done about it, or at least get it documented. I've been following this thread for a while and...
I had a 4-door JK before. I just wanted a smaller one. Easier to get around the trees on a wooded trail, easier to drive and park in an area filled with over-sized trucks. There's only 2 of us at home now so a back seat isn't needed. Took that out and put it in a spare bedroom closet to have...
We put LoD's bumper with tire carrier on mine last weekend. The license plate was the simpler part when you get the little "bolt lights". They splice into the existing wiring and work pretty well. The back-up camera was more intense to re-locate onto a swing-out but works well. You get a...
This is an older post, so I was wondering if by now you felt like you had to do something different with your spare? I have the steel factory bumpers and just put 35's on mine. The spare fits, but rubs the bumper just a tiny bit. I think the bonus there is supporting the spare on the bottom...
I am really digging this wheel. I have a non-lifted JL Rubicon. I was planning on getting Nitto Trail Grappler in 35/11.5/17. I don't feel like I need a 12.5" wide tire and this size comes in load range C. I've run this tire with load range E on a different vehicle before and they were a bit...
Popping in here to see what replies come up. I have a 2019 JL Rubicon. I want to put 35's under it without lifting. It also seems like when choosing an aftermarket wheel that not all will work with the factory back-up camera. I'm still trying to figure out how I will know a wheel will work...
I also just got a 2 door JL Rubicon with the steel bumpers. I was thinking about putting 35's on it except in doesn't look like there is enough room between the stock 33"ish spare tire and the bumper. But, yours is fitting without any kind of modification?
Hello!
I just traded my 17 JKUR in on a 19 JL Rubicon. I wasn't liking the JL at first sight, but it really started to grow on me after a while... and my desire to have a 2-door instead. So, here I am.
Did you modify the Kikbax for JK to fit the JL? I'd love to see pics of what you did. I have a JK set and recently traded for a JL and would like to do the same instead of buying another set.
