I have had the same problem. What i found was the plug that i removed to run wires through the firewall was not seated properly and was leaking. Check that.

Will that work on the OEM spare tire mount? I thought I read that the LOD camera relocation kit only works with the LOD Destroyer rear bumper/tire mount

Thank you. That's at least a starting point. The only real things i have found are not for stand alone installs, they only work with their associated bumper/spare tire holder.

Let me further elaborate. There were no real fixes then and the last reply to the threads asking about it was over a year ago.
