Sorry to hear that you were denied, I fully agree they must get what they deserve. I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive (at least it's what dealer is telling me, I'm not surprised if they deny me in the end of the days as well), heading towards 1 year awaiting since my claim...
Lucky you, congratulations!
For how long have you been waiting for the dealership to fix this TSB? Itās exactly 1 year in this November since Iāve applied for itā¦
A small update: after checking my Jeep for around half a day the service manager called me to come and pick it up. I was expecting a long conversation regarding the tires and/or any other reasons why they wouldn't apply this TSB.. but surprisingly without any argue they confirmed me that my...
Thanks, yeah, definitely will try to check as much as possible. What I meant that Iām gonna be the first in Cyprus to change the steering box I guess ā¦ anyway, weāll see š
Great news! I only wish they don't make it worse in my case since I am going to be the first one to replace the steering box/software (if they approve my case, of course)...
Went to my dealership recently with not that much hope, since I decided not to to get into the steering issues from the very beginning - I realized my Jeep isnāt driving perfectly straight - pulling right a bit - and there is some wandering at the highway speeds when you have to ācatchā the car...
Too bad, sorry to hear that . But I think you can find these bezels from other people in the UK as many have replaced stock bumpers - try asking here - there are a lot of British people in Europe section.
I'm not 100% sure as I've replaced my stock plastic bumpers with US steel bumpers from the very beginning, but if I'm not mistaken you have to remove the side caps first, and then you'll get access to the bezel mounts from inside of the bumper.
If I didnāt have JLUR now, Iād consider Bronco as a #1 choice š
P.S. I mean that if I was disappointed with JLUR - I would go for Bronco. But Iām not šš
Looks simple, but a bit messy explanation - I didn't understand if he was holding the 15 mm wrench in place while rotating 5/32 hex - on the video it looks like he turned both...
But anyway - thanks for the link, this might help a lot of people with undefined steering issues.
Actually I brought it from my trip to Moscow, so I can't provide you with some useful link in English as this is a Russian manufacturer that produces such lifts for a huge variety of different cars. There are some options available on eBay, but the price is 2-3 times higher than what I paid...
Hey, everyone! It's been a while - I hope you all have had some great summer regardless all the madness around. Just wanted to share with you another small upgrade that I find very useful in everyday driving - hood gas lifts. I always hated to open the hood, then to pull out the rod, insert it...
Wow, you've done such a great job, bravo! You have a perfect look - I'd never tell that this was done not at the factory! I'm glad my thread was useful, thanks for sharing with us.
That's a great looking Jeep!
Well, I was thinking on it, but then I realized I'm a bit tired with the mods already, and especially regarding the headlights - I'm really afraid to brake something like auto-levelling system or whatever... I didn't even change the dashboard color to grey!
