I didn’t mention, I also have a snorkel that runs over the top of the battery and the fuse enclosure. So the Genesis system is kind of out of the mix.

I didn’t want to set up a new system, just replace the aux battery! What do you think?

Is it possible to get rid of the auxiliary battery and replace it with a full size battery the same as the main battery. Would that make a difference in the way the batteries are used and would they last longer? I have a fridge and a winch to hook up.

If the second battery is replaced with the same battery that’s your main battery, would that do basically the same thing as a genesis system?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. The down side is you can’t use the existing battery, you’ll have to buy two new batteries plus the $500 plus for the genesis system.
