    Yeah I think that’s worth having a look at... after the dealer replaced all the rockers on my left head, all the “knock” noise went away completely. The motor sounds totally smooth and “normal”.

    Picked up the Jeep a couple days ago with another new valve cover gasket installed and so far so good!! Chrysler reached out and helped through the process. Currently working on an extended warranty with them hopefully for free. Hopefully this is the end of our pentastar problems!

    We picked the jeep up yesterday with a clean bill of health. It had three rocker arms replaced and that completely solved the ticking of the motor.     Update: it’s been 6 days and the dealer has installed the new rockers, but the valve cover gasket was damaged out of the box causing another delay lol. Supposed to pick it up today so I’ll let you know what it sounds like.

    Mine sounded very similar. Hard to say if it’s the same thing... when I took it in, I started reading threads like mad. I find it hard to believe that there were 3 bad rocker bearings... I kinda feel like the dealer is just gonna rebuild that head and hope that fixes the issue. I never had bad...

    Bought a 2019 JLU sport S manual 3.6 and when we got it home it was making a ticking sound at idle that you could really hear from the underside of the passenger door/wheel well but only when the engine was completely warmed up. Made an appointment and took it back to the dealer to look at it...
