Heber is a great place to live but is getting priced out from overthrow from Park City. But like was said in previous post if you don’t like snow, stay in the valleys. Even the southern mountains get significant snow.
You should also plan to see Muscleman Arch. It’s not far past the turnoff for Potash Rd at the bottom of the switchbacks. It’s a must see if your down already. I sent you a PM.
Looks like you’re leaving the day I’m arriving in Moab. Fins is a great trail. If you want to see Canyonlands and off road may I suggest Shaffer Switchbacks. Very easy trail, great views of the park and a nice introduction to shelf roads!
Sorry for late reply, I had the rear brackets installed in October in conjunction with an axle swap. I’ve finally tried them out on trail last week.
Truth be told with the axle swap, switch to 37” and the new brackets, it would be hard to attribute the amazing improvement to on thing. The on...
When you firm up your travel dates, let me know. I’m always up for a Moab trip!! As a matter of fact I’m going four 4 days next week. I lucky live only 4 hours away.
Hi Dennis, was also hoping to plan a trip to do Black Bear Pass next year. Was looking to do it last week of July, but being so far out it’s hard to lock down a date. Was hoping to do it with my son before he returns to college.
He’s a freshman at TCU, So it’s a very good possibility I’ll in...
It started snowing after we started Fins, it was coming down fairly hard. A little more challenging but no problem. Wouldn’t do it with a covering snow.
Thanks for the reply’s. Vanburi-How is the dealership with regards to working on modified Jeep’s?
feddiegs- that’s only 20min away, any places for routine maintenance or do they do that also?
My sons going to be attending TCU this year. He has a JKUR with Metalcloak lift and various other bits. Any recommendations for a service shop and a dedicated Jeep shop? He’s not the most mechanically inclined and didn’t want to pick a shop randomly..
Also recommend Outlaw Adventures. I was just there 2 days ago. I’ve used them since I first bought my Jeep. My son had his drivers license 1 month( JKUR) and my JLUR still had temp plates when we went wheeling. Great owner and very knowledgeable guides! Both mine and my sons Jeep’s were lifted...
Sorry, I just noticed your post. I live in Park City. When are you going to be here? Was just down in Moab to drop off my sons JKUR for skids and fenders. There some fun scenic trials PC that are very close.
If you haven’t left for you trip yet, may I recommend taking a guide in Moab. I did...
