The latest update to my saga is that the PIM module finally came in and once installed it did not solve the problem. The dealer is working with the Jeep engineers to determine what the next step is. Tomorrow the 4xe will have been at the dealer for two months!

Update, Jeep Cares was absolutely no help on a loaner but my dealer was able to authorization from Jeep and they sent me to Hertz so at least I now have a car to drive. The rental is for 10 days at which point I call back to get it extended. Why it took a month to get the loner I don't know...
