So, hereās maybe dumb question from someone who just moved from SoCal to Oregon and hasnāt driven in snow much, save for a few ski trips.
We have a JLUR Sahara with Select-Trac. Better to keep it in Auto 4H or shift into manual 4H in the snow?
I ordered my wife's Sahara on 12/4, got a VIN last week and yesterday my dealer told me
"It's scheduled to be built and ready to ship January 7th."
But I think he just made that up.
When I try to see my window sticker I get
Sorry, a Window Sticker is unavailable for this VIN
Anyone here have a Sahara with SelecTrac and Cold Weather Package? On the configuration site, it shows a change in tires from all-season to all-terrain with those options checked. But when I ordered, the salesman said it didn't show up that way. I'm hoping it arrives with the all-terrains.
Thanks.
I've had a different experience from most here: I just ordered from a dealer 60 miles away because of recommendations from this forum. Had an easy, pleasant experience with that dealer. The dealer closest to me wouldn't go less then $1000 under MSRP, even when I told them I was about to order...
Thanks for everyone's help and opinions.
Here's an update - just ordered a 2020 Sahara through Rob Trachtman at Courtesy Jeep.
Great guy - he and his manager were easy to deal with, no pressure, and gave us a great deal.
We couldn't find exactly what we were looking for anywhere (Sky One...
That sounds like a good plan, depending on how long it takes to get the car. Wifeās current lease is done mid-January. If we join tread lightly, I think we canāt order for 30 days.
What dealer in CA is doing that discount? Is it Courtesy in San Juan Capistrano?
Wow. Thatās pretty amazing.
Iāve always been a pretty good negotiator on cars, having grown up with my dad in the business for 40+ years.
But I canāt get a Southern California dealer to take even $1000 off a sky one touch.
Maybe itās time to look out of state and plan a road trip home.
Thatās what I was thinking as well. Iām reaching out to other dealers in Southern California, most of which donāt have the best reputation for good deals and being straightforward.
The funniest thing is this dealer has 17 in stock with the sky one touch roof, but claims theyāre rare. Wonāt...
My wife is looking to buy a Sahara with the sky one touch roof. Local dealer here in Los Angeles has many of them in stock, but insists they are ārareā and is only offering them for MSRP, saying other dealers are marking up over sticker. Is this everyoneās experience at this time? MSRP when they...
Don't know how I missed that one - will contact them today - thanks!
And thanks to everyone for their advice. I've purchased/leased a lot of new cars over the years, and dealing with these Jeep dealers has definitely been among my worst experiences so far. They have great, unique products, and...
Greetings JLers! New user here - have really been enjoying the forums and learning about the JL from the people who drive them and love them.
My wife and I have been trying to track down a unicorn - looking to purchase a 2019 2 door Wrangler Sport S, in Granite Crystal Metallic, with the 4...
