The bolts have loctite and these are the lamest captured nuts ive ever seen. Luckily the bolt backed out enough to be able to get a sawzall in there. Captured nut looks like some kind of pressed/keyed fit. Good news is there is plenty of room to get real hardware in there.

For me, that main obstacle towards the middle of the trail was the hardest thing on the mountain not counting motino wash. But I've only done it going up. Going down would be easier I guess, still a rollover risk though.

The only thing I know of connecting holcomb valley to arrowhead is Dishpan. Not sure I would classify that as "easy", is there another trail? The main holcomb valley trail goes into green valley lake, but to hop over to arrowhead from there requires going thru dishpan. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well it already happened so if you want to go to that specific event, you need to wait until next year. But you can run those trails at any time. A stock 2 door rubicon can do all the big bear trails easily. With a 4 door you'll probably want 35s.
