It's amazing Carvana gives +$4500 for local adjustment at your location but -$7000 at my location for valuation. I suspect if I were to go buy a Jeep from the local dealer here, they will use the same "local market adjustment" reason to charge me thousands more :CWL:

In terms of holding up resale value, does JL do better than Gladiators so far?

Taxes can range from 0% to 10% depending on location. I would be totally happy if I were to sell my Jeep after driving for 2 years and get almost as much as what I paid for the price, taking the sales tax and fees as my loss. I know I'd be doing way better than on an Audi or Land Rover :LOL:

That's nice! I wonder how they determine the local market adjustment part in different regions. It seems the highest vs. lowest in the nation for a same spec car can differ by $10k :surprised:

Haha, same here. When choosing between having the Advanced Safety vs. not, I had the feeling that more safety features will eventually translate into higher cost somewhere, maybe sensor replacement, computer complexity etc. Now windshield is another factor to add. :D

Thanks for the recommendation :) Will give them a call. I wonder if some shops' system assumes all 2019+ Rubicons have Safety Group and therefore requires a more expensive windshield when they give the quote?

I have searched the keywords for windshield replacement, called a few places recommended by the forum for quotes. But so far no luck finding any shop (in CA bay area) who can replace my windshield for less than $400 (2019 Rubicon 4 door, no Safety Group/ACC/FCW etc.). All I hope to get is basic...

Did other 2.0 owners experience similar issues? There are quite a few recalls on steering, welding and JT rear axle recently. Hopefully FCA will take note of this and really improve their quality, quickly :whew:
