I went with the RockHard aluminum front bumper and Blue Ox tow bar/brackets. Works well for me.
  4. Help please...possible damage to steering from dealer running it without ANY steering fluid after TSB work

Generally I consider it a blessing that I live in an area without millions of people but that also means fewer places to do business. I'm dealing with management on this. Maybe working through this helps them improve, maybe their head is to far up their a$$ and I have to drive significantly...
  5. Help please...possible damage to steering from dealer running it without ANY steering fluid after TSB work

Thanks for the reply. Yes I'm pissed. I tend to be solution oriented and your suggestion about replacement is what I was thinking to avoid future problems. However, I am a bit of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" person so I'm struggling with this. I wish I had a better understanding of the...
  6. Help please...possible damage to steering from dealer running it without ANY steering fluid after TSB work

Question about damage to steering from running it dry without ANY steering fluid Dealer failed to put power steering fluid in after my gearbox replacement per TSB 08-074-20. Drove my jeep home and didnā€™t like the feel of the new gearbox, it certainly didnā€™t feel right but also noticed tire...

  9. Best Seat Covers For Dogs

I have used the hammock style in other vehicles and they worked fine. I wanted fitted covers for the Jeep and went with Bartact. Not a cheap solution but they work well. Iā€™ve had gsp, terrier and giant schnauser trouncing in there and the hair doesnā€™t weave into the fabric.

  13. Air Helper Bags

You will want a good digital gauge that works at well at lower pressures. So you can adjust down to 5# if you need to. I currently run mine at 7ish for daily driving but I also have the rack which adds weight back there. At 15# daily driver usage it was stiff and I felt more road than I wanted.
  14. Air Helper Bags

I installed the airbags and decided against the air compressor part of system. Needing to adjust the height is limited to specific times and I don't really need to change the ride on the fly like I do in my RV. It turns out that an old fashioned bike pump will raise the pressure from 5 psi to...
  15. Air Helper Bags

Hi, Thanks Matt. I have looked at this and if I had a fair weather jeep this might be a workable solution. I don't want my equipment mounted that low and exposed to the elements. The reason my RV compressor has worked so well for all of these years is it is protected from the elements. Your...
  16. Air Helper Bags

Hi, Any progress on the location ideas for the compressor? I am going to run the dual path load controller (25852) or the heavy duty dual path load controller (74000). Airlift recommended not using the 74000EZ on the Wrangler JL. It would be great to have input as to location for either of...
  17. Looking for GOBI Rack Feedback.

I have the hardtop. It looks like the I have the hardtop. On my gobi rack the platform is welded in place to the lower bars and gobi supplies to cross bars for the upper bar level. I looked at the SkyOne version and agree with Fonzilla85 the deck is on the top bars and removable to allow...
