I can imagine. The blizzaks get great reviews. I imagine a lot of people might pass on this thinking "my jeep has 4wd and therefore must be awesome in the snow/ice" not realizing just how much these could improve things.
Surprised no takers yet! You have these set up great for a pain free winter tire swap. Price seems reasonable as well. If I commuted with the Jeep I would definitely take these off your hands, but she's mostly just for weekend fun.
I thought that but it only seemed to happen (for me anyway) when the car heated up in direct sunlight for a while which should theoretically heat the panel and help it to conform to the hood. I was thinking maybe it had something to do with different expansion rates, either between my light...
I think Customs likes me. Lol. One other thing... I did notice that two days after the new panel was installed while it was sitting in the sun heating up, one of the back indents started to pop up again. I let it sit with some weight on that spot for the next day though and that seems to have...
Uninstalled old panel, cleaned and prepped hood, and reinstalled my new panel this past weekend. Thought I would share some photos this time around in case they could be helpful for anyone! Nice job @Cascadia4x4 on the new changes. Love the more subtle look of the logo-less panel!
Also, this...
Hey, Cacadia please correct me if I'm wrong, but the connectors are just standard solar connectors. You can find extension cables for them super easily and maintain whatever mounting flexibility you want without a permanent splice.

Wondering if anyone has some insight into this. I recently switched the fuse in my JLUS in order to supply constant 12v power to the rear outlet regardless of ignition. However, when I tried to use the outlet this past weekend, it would switch on and off in 5 second cycles making it impossible...
Hey, just an update for anybody following along. Cascadia is hooking me up with their updated kit which will solve the small issue I had with the panel popping up. Great company and a great system. I can definitely recommend wholeheartedly. And as a bonus, I get another chance to share some step...
I dont think you'll have any issues with adhesion. Even though those two spots are popping up on mine, the rest of the thing is still rock solid, even at 70-80mph. Cascadia recommends installing when the outside temp is at least 65 degrees, but just from my experience, I would recommend...
So far so good. I had the Jeep on the beach last weekend and unfortunately tore a sidewall so I had my ARB compressor running, music going for a while, etc. The battery stayed strong the whole time and in fact I was able to jump a fellow jeeper who wasn't so lucky. It definitely provided me some...
Reviving a somewhat old thread to post some pics and my opinion of the Cascadia system after finally installing it this afternoon!
Took advantage of a beautiful day and a quarantine here in NYC to get my panel mounted up. Install was super simple and the kit provides everything you need...
I wish I had someplace to keep a trailer. That would be a no brainer. Unfortunately, living in NYC, I'm lucky just to have a garage. The crazy thing is that I have a pickup too, but it's a work truck and I can't put my wife in it or use it for personal errands.
Very cool. I've seen some awesome overlanding builds with the M416. I prefer that version over some of the earlier trailers because the square fenders match up with modern day wranglers.
