  1. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

Amazing. How easy is it to change the Y-axis to volume (#of complaints)? Might be interesting to see it in that context as well.
  2. Has anyone with a faulty Jeep been offered a buyback from FCA?

Jeep FCA ignorned my certified letters, but sent a response to the state attorney about my case. Luckily the state attorney is nice and has forwarded me the response. Their response to the SA lied! It says they saw my car and AS A RESPONSE to my letter had some specialist look at my JL to...
  3. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

States attorney office would love to hear this depending on your states Lemon Laws. If everything is documented and meets the law, you have a winning case on your hands.
  4. Jeep Parent Fiat Chrysler Agrees to Merger With Peugeot Owner PSA

Right? Compare it to a 2002 TJ. Not to say that Toyota hasn't pooped the bed now and then like the dust filter on the AU Tacos currently on the road. I imagine limp home mode in the outback isn't fun. I'd love for Jeep to reach Toyota levels of reliability. We all should hope for that as...
  5. Jeep Parent Fiat Chrysler Agrees to Merger With Peugeot Owner PSA

Italian and French engineering..... Two things that do not strike confidence.
  6. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

This is what I wish FCA realized. We understand that some vehicles come from the factory broken. It happens. Especially with something this complex and at this production rate. If they would just treat me like a customer and not a problem, they would come out on top. As much as they can. My...
  7. 2020 JLUR steering issue

How full is your tank? A few people have posted about this in the bigger steering thread, and some found a full fuel tank will tilt it to the passenger side. My driveway is sloped and angled, so it was never able to verify this myself. See, we can help each other when possible.
  8. 2020 JLUR steering issue

Bud, I think you are stuck in a mind set that others here don't have, or even want. We shouldn't have to do any of this. End of story. It's not about what we can afford or what we can do outside the realm of FCA, it's about them selling goods that are broken. There is no counter-point to this.
  9. 2020 JLUR steering issue

Yes. I've done all this. Thanks for your sage wisdom. You have a working Jeep, I assume. Why are you in this thread? Are you here to gloat or are you here to insult people who don't know how to use tools? Neither is a good use of your time, bud. I'm here to get my jeep fixed. Seems reasonable...
  10. 2020 JLUR steering issue

Whoa. You are a mean one. Let me break this down for you. My jeep has steering problems, and the poll on this thread says that ~half of the 2020s in this thread do too. The other thread has over three thousand post of people trying to fix it. Are you saying there isn't a problem? If you are...
  11. 2020 JLUR steering issue

Your not nice. Why call me ignorant? It's not my fault I don't follow the 300+ page thread and every poster on it who has steering issues and the new side thread on the same issue. Even if they are here to help us solve our steering problems, I'm not sure large underlined text telling people...
  12. 2020 JLUR steering issue

I've found it's best to ignore these post by guys like that. For some reason they think we're all complaining for no real reason. They can toss out any technical jargon they want as to why it drives different than a Camry (a or shopping cart?), But that doesn't change the fact that there is a...
  13. Has anyone with a faulty Jeep been offered a buyback from FCA?

I'm in DC. Look up those state laws and follow them as close as you can. Research is key. Read up for a day or two before you do anything. Good luck.
  14. Has anyone with a faulty Jeep been offered a buyback from FCA?

It's been 1 week for me. Nothing so far. I'm required by law to give them 30 days to respond, then another 15 days after a second letter to respond which is sent on day 30. After that, my states atourney will take over. Theoretically, Jeep should respond to me any day now and try to fix...
  15. Has anyone with a faulty Jeep been offered a buyback from FCA?

Google your state + lemon law. There should be a site that pops up in the first results page with a .gov site. That's the one you are looking for. There it will list the process and steps required to start the lemon law process. It, unfortunately, takes time and documentation of the problems...
  16. Has anyone with a faulty Jeep been offered a buyback from FCA?

So, my process with the buyback/replacement lemon law requires me to send off a certified letter to Jeep. What address, if you sent a letter, did you mail your letter to?
  17. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

Yea. That made me a little confused for a second. I sent my letter (lemon law process) to FCA US LLC. Po Box 21-8004 Auburn Hills, MI 48321 That's the adress they list on their website. Makes me wonder, if I mailed off to the wrong one.
  18. 2020 JLUR steering issue

Agreed. No need to be scared off. The number of people with the problem is far smaller than those with a perfectly fine Jeep. It sucks to deal wit, but as someone with the problem. I'll just replace it with another Jeep after a good test drive. It's worth the hassle, imo.
  19. 2020 JLUR steering issue

It seems like the problem is kind of all over the place. Which adds to the problem and frustration for people. Reading the thread on the steering issue you'll see that it's not one problem with one fix. It's problem A for one and Problem B for another. With Problem A and B for yet another while...
  20. Cracked Windshield Club

How was the repurchase process? I'm about to go down that road myself. Any advice or warnings?
