  1. Audio cutting in and out

I was so fed up my dealer would not replace the camera, I went online to a Mopar authorized parts wholesaler and purchased a 2020 rear camera for $79 last summer and replaced the camera on my own after watching a few YouTube videos on how to. The issue was resolved and never occurred again, and...

  4. Audio cutting in and out

My dealership, Deacons Jeep in Ohio absolutely stinks. Three times and nothing accomplished even though I brought up the camera all three times. Had the head unit replaced, software updated and lastly took it in for a gateway fix, however the service manager stated that my warranty is voided...
  5. Audio cutting in and out

Viper, do you know if they also replaced the wiring harness for the camera as well? My dealer did everything, but replace the camera and I continue to have this issue as I head in month 35, so with 1 month on my warranty, got nervous and I purchased a replacement camera for a 2020 Wrangler to...

  7. Audio cutting in and out

Did they replace just the camera or wires as well? Still waiting on my third head unit after the first one replacement they provided failed. I’m going to buy the camera myself since getting nowhere from Jeep, but need to know if the wires were also replaced by those with successful replacements...
  8. Audio cutting in and out

Yeah, 14 degrees with the sun in Cleveland and mine did it this morning. Just got a call my 8.4 Uconnect is still not in. Just like Bri01 said, may be delayed until warm weather, only for the problem to come back next winter. Can you update us as the weeks progress to let us know if it works...
  9. Audio cutting in and out

So I literally came back from the dealership as they diagnosed the same thing we all are/have gone through, and concluded all the steps to test the rear camera was not the reason it’s cutting in and out on cold dates, but rather my Jeep needs a new $1,600 stereo (as you said). I started with...
  10. Audio cutting in and out

Wow! Thanks for going through the battlefield for those of us going through the issues now. Your details and remedies are an enormous help. My case has been received and escalated so hoping to do what you’ve experienced with the fix. Thanks again!
  11. Problem with Mopar Soft Top (little flap won't stay shut). Anyone else?

My sides panels have been rock solid so not sure. If they haven’t changed the design from 2018 to 2020, then prob not.
  12. Problem with Mopar Soft Top (little flap won't stay shut). Anyone else?

Correct, 2018 and some 2019 soft top issues. The orig tabs were flat and black, about an inch shorter. First model year problems.
  13. Problem with Mopar Soft Top (little flap won't stay shut). Anyone else?

Just received my replacement under warranty. works great, including after highway drives. The green tabs are 2x larger to stay tucked in.
  14. Audio cutting in and out

@JeepCares I went to the dealership and they said they could not reproduce the event (it was 45 degrees) and was told to wait for an announcement from Jeep. I was told to wait a few months. I told them about the thread from many owners claiming it may be the camera, but was told unless it comes...
  15. Audio cutting in and out

Sorry for what I’m sure has been mentioned already, but does anyone know what the part number of the new camera that seems to fix this audio issue? I want to make sure I don’t receive the same part/model camera when attempting to fix this.
  16. Got the V41 recall work done

On my Jeep app, it stated that parts were available when I clicked on the v41 recall. Called the dealer I have as my dealer of choice, and they got me in the next day. No questions asked, and they replaced it in an hour. Did they replace with the same Mopar damper thinking it was a defect...
  17. Got the V41 recall work done

In the Jeep app, if you click on the recall, you can select “reimburse”. It’ll take you to the Chrysler website to punch in your VIN. Worth a shot since you eliminated the improper damper.
