Yes, as @Dom stated, the halo’s work once you have the district mgr at the FCA Sales Office add the Sales Code “LPX” to your specific VIN, then take it in and have the dealer reconfigure the BCM. Mine worked great as soon as that was done.
I have a 2019 JLU Rubicon, so I didn’t have to install the entire Fender Flare, just the LED DRL/Turn Signal Lights In place of my Halogen DRL/Turn Signals. But yes, after I did that and had the dealership reconfigure the BCM, they work just as if they came from the factory that way.
FINALLY GOT IT ALL WORKING! So it was exactly the same as your experience, had to contact the Regional FCA office, have them Add the Sales Code LPX to the VIN, and then have the local Dealership Reconfigure the BCM (Flash)... So now, not only do my Halo’s work, but the reconfigure also fixed...
So check out this thread. Sounds like several people have tried this, and they are having a similar challenge to the LED kit, which is that they need a Sales Code loaded by the Regional FCA to add it to their VIN...
Just FYI, I ran into a similar situation with adding the MOPAR Factory LED Kit to my JL Unlimited Rubicon. THye had to add the Sales Code to my VIN. We accomplished it however, by having the Dealer call the Regional FCA office, who was able to add the Sales Code to my VIN (not available in...
Cool. I’m also curious if that’s all that’s needed are the handles, or does the fob have to be changed, etc. If it’s just those handles, it will be totally worth it to have proximity locks.
Yes, all of that has been noted. I had interpreted the pin setup correctly from the beginning, etc. The Tazer would not activate mine, even after several “on/off” cycles. The dealer cannot activate them, as the correct Sales Code “LPX” isn’t available for VIN’s of 2019 JL’s... This is where...
Interesting. Ask them if they were able to add the “LPX” Sales Code? Because ultimately that’s my only roadblock, my dealer showed me the screen, and that code wasn’t available for the VIN on my JL Unlimited Rubicon.
My Factory installed Mopar Hardtop Headliner, has piece, over the back window of the hardtop, that keep coming unattached. It’s actually the adhesive that is not sticking to the headliner piece. I know it would be covered by the warranty, since my JLUR is all of 1 month old, but I don’t really...
