  1. Hearing rattling inside in the back cargo area

Might be your tailgate itself rattling. I adjusted the striker and catch that the tailgate latches to when closed and fixed rattling issues in the past. Try moving them slightly forward towards the front of the vehicle and see if that makes a difference.
  2. Knock in rear with Dana 44

Been a while since I have checked in on this thread, but isn't this issue isolated to the D44 with the LSD? His post says he has a Rubicon, might not be the same issue.
  3. Camping on jeep with pets

My wife and I have done several camping trips with our 70lb Golden Retriever. The first trip we took her on was very frustrating because she was a puppy and wasn't happy no matter what we did. She also ate everything in sight. Fast forward to now and she's great. She sits in the back seat and...
  4. Someone tell me what this is for?

I believe there is a little fan behind that panel that intakes air through that vent. I can't remember why there is a little fan there though.
  5. Critique my upcoming Trip to Colorado

So, my little girl was born in April and my wife and I reminisce about this trip every chance we get. We can't wait to revisit Colorado some day and explore some more.
  6. Actual JLU Sport with 35" clearance photos from real world application

I recognize the playground at Hungry Valley any time I see a picture of it. Congrats on the Jeep by the way, it looks great.
  7. GRANITE CRYSTAL METALLIC Wrangler JL Club

Just found this thread. Here are some pictures of my Granite Crystal JL. The beginning, the middle, and current.
  8. Clayton Off Road: JL Overland Plus Lift Kits

I run their 2.5 inch lift and I paired them with some Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir shocks. I think my Jeep rides great around town and on the trail.
  9. What's the deal with hard-mounting your air compressor?

Me too. I think she appreciates the vibration sometimes. ;)
  10. What's the deal with hard-mounting your air compressor?

If I am going on a camping/off-roading trip for several days, my camping gear is what I access most, so that has to be more accessible than a compressor. Having a portable compressor isn't a big deal if I am on dirt the entire time because I only have to air up once. But if I am doing a trip...
  11. What's the deal with hard-mounting your air compressor?

It saves wayyy more than 30 seconds, haha. In my previous setup I had to: 1. Open the back of the jeep 2. Undo my cargo net on my storage shelf 3. Move stuff in front of the compressor out of the way 4. Open my engine bay and connect it to my battery 5. Air up all of my tires 6. Disconnect the...
  12. What's the deal with hard-mounting your air compressor?

I currently run a hard mounted dual ARB compressor under my passenger seat. Before my current setup, I would haul my Smittybuilt compressor with me around town and on the trail. Having it hard mounted is convenient for a bunch of reasons. For one, it doesn't take up any extra space, two, I have...
  13. Lets see some 37s

That is the mopar steel bumper with the end caps removed and with a warn bull bar. For my tire carrier I am running a maximus 3 tire carrier that includes re-enforced hinges.
  14. Lets see some 37s

Here are some 37" 12.50 R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on some 17" procomp wheels. I am running a Clayton 2.5" overland plus lift kit.
  15. Critique my upcoming Trip to Colorado

I did not hit Black Bear pass cause I am a wuss, lol. Out of the three that you mentioned we only hit Engineer pass which I consider to be a moderate trail. A little rockey in some parts but not bad if you just take your time. Definitely take your time. Don't pack too many trails/points in...
  16. Critique my upcoming Trip to Colorado

For a complete novice, I would put Imogene at moderate just because it's narrow. Ophir was easier and maybe a little narrower in parts but was much shorter. You would do find in a stock Rubicon. We saw people in rental Jeeps doing these trails, lol.
  17. Critique my upcoming Trip to Colorado

Fair request. The trip as I had planned out in my original post is definitely doable. The downside to it though is we really didn't get the chance to explore Ouray, Telluride, and Silverton very well because we felt rushed for time. If I did this same trip again I would add another day or two to...
