Stock front plastic bumper. Thought I would throw it out there if anyone needed to replace one before I throw it in the dumpster. Located just north of Colorado. Will take ANY offer. Just donāt need it laying around anymore
I really appreciate all the replies. We still have a more āpracticalā family ride that my wife drives daily and I have no plans on driving anything but the wrangler for years to come. (That and the motorcycle are non negotiable and the wife agrees lol) if my mom raised us in a YJ and a 90s...
My wife and I always say āwhy is that Jeep so angry?ā When we see them.
My Jeep makes me happy, I like to think that it too is always happy.
But, like most have said, itās your Jeep do what you want to it. To each their own.
Always back into my driveway and garage. Weather I am outside or inside the garage I can easily access the back to load or unload things, I donāt need access to the front of my Jeep, the back is the business end. And for those of us that frequently back into garages and spaces, with practice it...
Like many others Iāve hauled many 8-10ā lumber on the tailgate with the window open. I actually have a cut piece of pipe insulation that fits right over the tailgate edge I just throw on there when I make a lumber run.
I was going to mount mine with the above mentioned flip up brackets but ended up mounting it to the lower skid plate that hangs below the bumper. Itās not the most visible thing but I havenāt been hassled for it yet.
Same as above. We got tired of moving the first one we got from Amazon. Picked up another from Costco I think for the other vehicle and both work well. Holes in both for seatbelts
Put the finishing touches on my homemade tailgate table. Itās got itās flaws, but since I already had all but one latch from the hardware store laying around, the price was right.
We do quite a bit. Usually we only camp back there for 2-3 days at most. Iāve found a full size Colman air mattress inflates back there well and our bags fit in the front seats pushed forward all the way for sleep space. Things like a cooler, camp chairs, and a tote for the odds and ends spend...
Tempting.. but like you I think my next jump is to rubi axles. Besides, I kind like taking pride in making Rubiconās look silly with my open diffs for now lol.
Yes they will work. From my understanding most have been buying the factory harness for the lockers and using that to wire them into an aux switch that way they have the connectors and wiring to the axle. Thatās my plan once the Jeepās paid off. Harder to find a decent used set in the Midwest...
