Iā€™m sure there are plenty like me out there who have upgraded. Check out your local groups.
  2. Wyoming Stock Front bumper

Stock front plastic bumper. Thought I would throw it out there if anyone needed to replace one before I throw it in the dumpster. Located just north of Colorado. Will take ANY offer. Just donā€™t need it laying around anymore
  3. New dad! Kids, baby’s!

Depending on where we get stationed next (active duty AF, waiting in my follow on orders any day Hahaā€¦?
  4. New dad! Kids, baby’s!

I really appreciate all the replies. We still have a more ā€œpracticalā€ family ride that my wife drives daily and I have no plans on driving anything but the wrangler for years to come. (That and the motorcycle are non negotiable and the wife agrees lol) if my mom raised us in a YJ and a 90s...
  5. New dad! Kids, baby’s!

I think this is the only think I actually contributed to our baby registry šŸ˜‚
  6. New dad! Kids, baby’s!

As the title says expecting first kid (little girl)in December what does a Jeep dad need to know?
  7. Why so much hate for angry eyes grilles?

My wife and I always say ā€œwhy is that Jeep so angry?ā€ When we see them. My Jeep makes me happy, I like to think that it too is always happy. But, like most have said, itā€™s your Jeep do what you want to it. To each their own.
  8. Minnesota 4 Door OEM Soft Top $1100

    Still available?
  9. Backing Into Parking Spots: The Debate

Always back into my driveway and garage. Weather I am outside or inside the garage I can easily access the back to load or unload things, I donā€™t need access to the front of my Jeep, the back is the business end. And for those of us that frequently back into garages and spaces, with practice it...
  10. Has anyone hauled 8ft lumber in their JL 4dr

Like many others Iā€™ve hauled many 8-10ā€™ lumber on the tailgate with the window open. I actually have a cut piece of pipe insulation that fits right over the tailgate edge I just throw on there when I make a lumber run.
  11. Dog hair removal ideas?

Lilly brush works great for us.
  12. License Plate mount for Winch Bumper with Hawse fairlead?

I was going to mount mine with the above mentioned flip up brackets but ended up mounting it to the lower skid plate that hangs below the bumper. Itā€™s not the most visible thing but I havenā€™t been hassled for it yet.
  13. Opinions on Hartop Headliner?

That will look great. 3/4 should fit but it will be close on the front latch.
  14. 2nd row Dog seat cover for JLUR

Same as above. We got tired of moving the first one we got from Amazon. Picked up another from Costco I think for the other vehicle and both work well. Holes in both for seatbelts
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Put the finishing touches on my homemade tailgate table. Itā€™s got itā€™s flaws, but since I already had all but one latch from the hardware store laying around, the price was right.
  16. 3.5 Inch lift with 33/34-inch tires?

Yes. Still loving it. I have not had a chance to really push it off road yet but Iā€™m super happy with it so far.
  17. Sleeping in the back

We do quite a bit. Usually we only camp back there for 2-3 days at most. Iā€™ve found a full size Colman air mattress inflates back there well and our bags fit in the front seats pushed forward all the way for sleep space. Things like a cooler, camp chairs, and a tote for the odds and ends spend...
  18. Rancho 2-3.5” sport lift a good option?

Yes, they provide a 2ā€ bump stop extension that bolts to the spring perch on the axle and contacts the factory bump stop.
  19. JLU Sahara Rock Crawling build?

Tempting.. but like you I think my next jump is to rubi axles. Besides, I kind like taking pride in making Rubiconā€™s look silly with my open diffs for now lol.
  20. JLU Sahara Rock Crawling build?

Yes they will work. From my understanding most have been buying the factory harness for the lockers and using that to wire them into an aux switch that way they have the connectors and wiring to the axle. Thatā€™s my plan once the Jeepā€™s paid off. Harder to find a decent used set in the Midwest...
