I have a JLU sport with the automatic V6. I just noticed it doing this today. Going around 45 it feels like someone is tapping on the breaks or a slight jerk. Anyone figure out the underlying issue? I’m planning a long drive soon and hope it’s not engine related.
Finally had the TSB done today and the jeep drives so much better. Steering is a lot tighter and the dead spot is gone. It actually will stay in a straight line now without constant corrections. Big thankyou to @JeepCares for helping get my dealer to order the correct parts.
Took my jeep in today to the dealer to get diagnosed. I looked at the parts they ordered and it’s also the old gearbox. I’ve started a case with Jeepcares.
@JeepCares
“The reason why that part number was ordered, is per FCA the revised TSB has a part# that is non-existent. Catalog error”
Dealer Hill-Kelly in Pensacola was unaware of the TSB. They gave me that reasoning for ordering the old gearbox instead of the new one in the TSB.
Went to the dealer today. They first blamed my tires for the wandering and steering issues. Then they took it on a test drive and did the V41 recall. Parts were ordered but I don’t think they are the same parts as the TSB. Does anyone know what these parts are? Am I still going to have the same...
I have a 19 JLU with the problems listed in the TSB.
Called my dealer in Pensacola today and they acted like they’ve never heard of the TSB I was talking about. Hopefully when they take it in to diagnose it they don’t blame it on the 33s I put on.
