I have had spotty reception with it being mounted there. Im actually in the process this morning on seeing where to relocate it for better reception. They give you plenty of wire to run it almost anywhere.

Thy are stainless steel and not aluminum, so they are a LOT stronger. And yes, they have an allen head which makes them SO much easier to install. Be forewarned, going with the stainless steel dzus fasteners is quite a bit more in price. I paid $90 for a full set, but OHHHHH SO WORTH IT...

Your ad card for updates has to be one size and goes into the GPS slot and formatted to FAT32. The card for music, movies, etc is another size and has to be formatted to NTFS and goes into the SD card slot.

Never experienced that. Took a 5 hour trip in mine this weekend with no issues. I was using Bluetooth music and streaming movies to it, but I don't use Apple.

I don't use iTunes or anything Apple due to its proprietary status, but, did you format the card to NTFS? Then, in theory, you should be able to play the music AFTER directing it to the source file on your card.
